Novotel Strasbourg Centre Halles4.0 out of 5.0

I stayed here for 1 night, and was quite impressed. The lobby was not very big, but has some simple and modern elements, like every other Novotel's Hotels. The room was the same, simple, modern, and clean. Toilet amenities did not disappoint, it's the same things I received at Novotel Kievskaya a few months back. This shows great consistency within the Novotel brand. Most of the things were great, with an exception of the small selection of breakfast and seating, though it was understandable because of the limited space they have. Overall, this place is a great place to stay as it is very close to the city center with the shopping street and clean rooms.
Nice hotel close to the railway station. It was a very good base to explore the city as everything was close to it. We stayed here for 3 nights, had a clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again.
We stayed here recently and were very pleased with the hotel’s decor, cleanliness, welcoming staff and typically good Novotel breakfast (not included). It’s a perfect location for seeing all the sights of Strasbourg, as it’s within walking distance to the Cathedral, museums, shopping and restaurants. We took the train, and it was very convenient to walk to the hotel upon arrival.
The service and rooms at the hotel are good and the food Ok. The only issue I would have is that the paper tissues provided were the same consistency as kitchen roll - not very soft on the nose! Despite having a high floor room and the double glazing there was a but of noise from late night revellers in the street outside on a Friday night.
We travelled to Strasbourg with the family and had two rooms and we were surprised by the poor quality of the rooms. The bathrooms were really small and the ceiling made funny noises so if it would fall down within a short period of time. The air conditioning did not work properly and there was a still a breeze of smoke in the rooms. As we have experience with other Novotel hotels: this was not what we expected. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not really good, especially the coffee was cold and of a simple coffee machine quality. Anyhow, the location of the hotel is next to the city center and the hotel provides an underground parking space.
Conveniently located at one tram station away from the central station. Also on the same tram line if you're coming from the bus terminal in Place d'Etoile or from Kehl station in Germany. The hotel is connected to a mall with a large supermarket. It is within walking distance to the old town. Counter staff were very friendly at check-in/out and with the luggage check the next morning as well. Our room was spacious with a comfortable queen bed and a large sofa. Bath and toilet were awkwardly separated. Breakfast was awesome, with hot and cold choices, freshly squeezed orange juice, and fresh bread from a local bakery. The staff member at the breakfast did not attempt to speak English or to speak more slowly even when I looked puzzled and my response in French was stuttered. Overall, a great hotel that I will want to stay at again during my next visit to Strasbourg.
A good stay, a good little gym, the breakfast was to the Novotel Standards, The bed was comfortable, We had a nice little family weekend and the hotel was clean and calm. what more do you want from a hotel?
Very good hotel, near the center and the main monuments. The room in modern style is excellent. The breakfast is also excellent. Free fast internet available in the rooms. Public parking close, but expensive.
The Novotel is a nice but standard city hotel centrally located in Strasbourg (10 min by feet to Notre Dame). The rooms have a good size and the fridge is extremely useful! I would recommend to book a room with a shower instead of a bathtub because for people with longer hair it could end up in a flooded bathroom. The breakfast was okay but not outstanding and based on the price I would recommend to book a room without and look for a nice cafe, which shouldn't be that difficult. Check-in/-out-procedure was very uncomplicated and quick!
Hotel is in a great location and with parking available. ( extra cost) Upon arrival receptionist Sarah was extremely helpful. Room was good, as usual. Breakfast in morning was chaos. Things kept running out. Both food items and glasses, plates etc which meant wondering around to find someone to help. Bacon never materialised. A frustrating and annoying end to the stop over in the end.
