The view!!!!! We enjoyed our stay and loved spending time on the porch looking at the mountains and watching the sunset every night. The property was wonderful. When we arrived there were 5 bucks laying in the yard and we continued to see them everyday after. We even seen a moose at the river park bridge. Everything was very clean and the extra touches of snack, drinks and bathroom amenities were very nice. This was the perfect place for downtime on our Montana roadtrip.

Everything was perfect. Very clean and organized. We just used it to sleep and shower so we could enjoy different food spots in town. The river in Stevensville was beautiful and has a walking trail. The house was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the birds while the sun sets. Would definitely stay again.

Must stay at!

The only thing I would add for us is a TV in the bedroom area...but this is hands down one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at! They had everything you could think of! We will be staying here again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Stevensville and would give this property more than five stars if we could. The home was clean, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing Montana getaway. The views were truly breathtaking. Every morning and evening, we found ourselves sitting outside just taking in the Bitterroot Mountains. The sunsets, the peaceful setting, and the wide-open scenery made the home feel incredibly special. The location was perfect for exploring the area. We went on a beautiful hike in the Bitterroot Mountains and loved coming back to such a quiet, comfortable retreat afterward. It was the perfect balance of convenience, privacy, and natural beauty. The host made everything easy from start to finish, and it’s clear they take great care of the home and their guests. We left already talking about when we could come back. Highly, highly recommend!

Private, quiet, clean, comfortable and a gorgeous view of the Bitterroot mountains. The host ensured we had everything needed to make us feel at home. Location was perfect for us as my son, d-i-l and four grandkids live within 3 miles and staying here gave us respite from a very busy household! We look forward to staying here again.
Driveway to cottage. Sunsets were spectacular!
Surprise morning visitor. Looked up from doing dishes and there he was, right outside the cottage window! By the time I got my phone for a pic, he was well on his way.

Absolutely gorgeous place. The view is absolutely stunning. Very quiet and peaceful and not too far from the mail road. All amenities you would need for a very comfortable stay. And you can tell the host pays a lot for attention to the details and she is very responsive to messages. You may even be as lucky as we were to have a pair of male deer hang out on the front lawn just feet away!

Our stay truly could not have been better. My family lives in the area so we will 100% be booking this place each time we visit. We met Brenda and she was even so kind to have given us some produce from the garden! Truly the hospitality could not have been more superb and Brenda really has thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen to a full basket of convenient travel items (tissues, toothpaste, etc.), to a really comprehensive notebook inside providing a ton of information about things to do and see on the area. Thank you for such a fantastic stay, Brenda!!

One of the TOP places I have ever rented

My husband and I travel extensively and frequently rent short term properties. This is truly one of the BEST we have ever rented. Brenda had thought of everything. The cottage is adorable. The bed was comfortable. The views are spectacular. We stayed for 10 nights and were sad to leave this little slice of Heaven.

Wonderful cottage with a spectacular view!! Everything we could think of was provided for us , very comfortable to live in. Almost looked brand-new! Cozy, and basically secluded, neighbors were not close. Two gourmet restaurants in Stevensville and other good restaurants. The town also had some wonderful visiting sites - St. Mary's Mission church museum, Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge were both great. Also some fine shopping stores available downtown. Not far from many towns with other fun things to enjoy. Especially interesting to us the CSKT Bison Range Wildlife Refuge in Charlo, Montana. Host Brenda was quick to answer any of our questions with a friendly attitude and voice. The best VRBO we have stayed at during our time booking through this agency!!!
Daybreak from the cottage, a little fog since temp was down, but later they reach high 70's.
Trumpeter Swans visit Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge. Hike there and be surprised what you will see.
Pronghorn seen at CSKT Bison Range, besides buffalo.
Lazy K Ranch. Our first time in Montana we see so many horses, cattle, long trains, etc. plus casinos everywhere!!!

My wife and I came out to Montana for a family wedding in Florence. The cottage turned out to be the perfect stay! The house is well constructed with great amenities. Beautiful polished concrete floors, great appliances, comfortable sofa & bed, nice bathroom, and lighting. Perhaps the best was the incredible scenic views of the mountains from the porch and through the windows. Wi-Fi and TV service allowed us to watch our hometeam football baseball teams. The cottage was well equipped with anything you required. Brenda is a phenomenal host! She organized snacks & bathroom necessities in baskets. The cupboards were conveniently well stocked with evo, salt & pepper, spices, etc. Just really well thought out. For us, it was a perfect 10.

5 Stars – Peaceful Retreat with Unforgettable Views

Our stay at Brenda's one-bedroom cottage was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning and truly underrated views of the Bitterroot Mountains. Surrounded by wildlife and serene quiet, it was exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for.The cottage itself was beautifully maintained and stocked with everything we needed—and then some. Thoughtful touches like mini toothpaste, deodorant, new toothbrushes, full-sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a basket of snacks made us feel instantly at home. The appliances were updated, including a great gas stovetop and an outdoor grill, which we made full use of.Though the property owners live nearby, they were never intrusive. In fact, they were friendly and engaging—my husband really enjoyed chatting with them about the land and the produce they grow. It added a nice personal touch to the stay. While the road to the property isn't paved, the dirt road was well maintained and easy to drive. It took just 15 minutes to get to the ranch where I was taking a course, and the drive was simple and scenic. There’s also a washer and dryer on site, which was a huge plus after a weekend of shooting and outdoor activities. We brought our bows and had plenty of space to practice shooting our targets right on the property.Brenda’s communication was top-notch. She sent access info in a timely manner, checked in to make sure everything was going wel

This cottage was just adorable and made a great home base for our trip to the Bitterroot Valley. Everything was as depicted in the listing. The furnishings were an eclectic mix of antiques and new appliances and decor, and the views were out of this world. We would sit in our rocking chairs each morning on the porch, enjoying the quiet and the mountain scenery. For groceries, the Super 1 grocery store was only a few miles away from us. We realized just before we left on our trip that the cottage did not have AC, a concern because the forecast was for the mid 90’s.Brenda assured us there would be plenty of ceiling and floor fans and suggested opening the windows at night and then closing them up in the morning. We did this and were pleasantly surprised that the cottage stayed fairly cool, even when it was 95 outside. She also mentioned they may be putting AC in down the road, which I think would be helpful for when the air quality isn’t optimal. We would have liked to have had a washer and dryer on site, but brought enough clothes that we managed without them. We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage and highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Valley.

Pet friendly and our dog Yeti loved sitting on the porch our walking the paths around the property. Host communicated quickly and answered any questions we had. Not far from town which was nice also.
