As per my communication thru VRBO (AFTER we got home) that the host "misrepresented" the listing, he agreed to amend it. He used the word "Washer" but the unit had none; he used the word "Luxury" which is ludicrous. My complaints included, but were not limited to: several of our electronic devices being ruined and unusable due to electrical sparks flying when we plugged them in and shorting them out! Thus, we were unable to use our phones when we needed them most--on departure day, which was a communication nightmare: airline check-ins, 2 airport arrivals, parking, shuttles, taxis, etc. The electrical in the unit is simply unsafe.Four light bulbs were out when we checked in. We uncovered a long black hair on the bedsheet. Some cabinet doors were hanging, unhinged. A few kitchen linens were filthy. The beach view was obstructed. Parts of the unit were shoddy and filthy.I understand the host had an emergency to attend during our stay, but these issues didn't happen overnight. Despite some 10 reviews, this unit has issues and is greatly overpriced. We did extend our stay 2 days, but it had nothing to do with the unit. Its saving grace was the pretty beach.The host wrote: "You are right. I could have done better. I travelled to California to be with my sister...My family emergency is not an excuse and I apologize for not meeting your expectations and losing your patronage. I will try harder for future guests."
