Communication was excellent throughout booking process. Listing photos were accurate and balcony view was even more stunning in person. Check-in was smooth; property manager allowed us to drop luggage early while they finished cleaning. The layout includes a main house, pool house, and attached apartment, each with private entrances. Lovely shared pool. Parking was easy with plenty of space. Grounds are beautifully maintained with mango, avocado, sugar cane, pink pineapple plants, and iguanas in the trees. The home is beautiful with high ceilings, ceiling fans, and wall-mounted AC units. Interior design is tasteful and views over Charlotte Amalie—especially cruise ships—were incredible day and night. Kitchen was well equipped with two full-size refrigerators, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee makers, toaster, and ice maker. Extras included snorkel gear, sunscreen, aloe, towels, coolers, and beach chairs. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. The biggest disappointment was the master soaking tub, which was featured but not functional. It wasn’t disclosed beforehand and took two days to get a response; it required full replacement and wasn’t usable during our stay. Water pressure and hot water were limited. Rugs and sliding door handles could use a deep clean. Only one TV is in the living room, none in bedrooms. Road is steep, narrow, and bumpy with a tricky driveway exit. Despite this, value was fair at 3,933 for 6 nights for 5 people. Overall, a magical vacation for us.
