This house was perfect for our family of 8. The kitchen, family room and front porch was a great gathering place for all of us. The bedrooms were a good match for both the adults and kids.The walk to the beach was easy and we enjoyed the shops and restaurants on the island.

Family stay in the winter

We had a great time at the house. It is in perfect shape and looks like it was recently redone. The bedrooms and common spaces and decks are very comfortable. Great location in town where you can walk to a bunch of places and it's only a short drive from others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pelican’s Perch on Peachtree was a wonderful place to stay for a month. It was beautifully decorated in comfortable furnishings, immaculately clean and thoughtfully laid out. The neighborhood is so friendly with cute homes and lots of folks walking their dogs. It’s also a short walk to beautiful East Beach. The realty company was extremely responsive. I hate to sell this too much because we don’t want competition for our next stay in St Simons!
