Huge, impersonal hotel and old furniture. Small and not too clean rooms. Very poor continental breakfast, you have to get up very soon if you want to find something again. Scandalous that to send you postcards claim double of a postage stamp. I traveled So much and this is the first time I happen to do it. In addition, the postcards did not even reach the recipients. @gargio76
Very good hotel! We were given a room with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which was very comfortable for three people. Our room had many windows and a great view to the important Moskovskiye Ave. in front. You can make coffee, but there is no refrigerator in the room. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of food; you can ask eggs to be done your way. The hotel has restaurants and a gift store. There is a supermarket next to it, which is very convenient. It’s wifi is free. There is a metro station half a block from the hotel, in four stations you are in center city. We had an enjoyable stay here.
Okay, this hotel has got most of the things a decent hotel must have: clean room, TV, Internet, wardrobe, etc. Even though you may upgrade for better wifi, the free tier is usually good enough. What may be depressing sometimes for visitors from the West is size: the restaurant can and usually does host 100 people in the morning, the corridor is so long that I could hardly see the end and it misses any decorations. Apart from the size, however, it's good.
-Free n good wifi -Good breakfast- whole fruits-green apples, oranges Juice- orange, tomato, mango etc Choc powder, varieties of tea bags -Cezoh supermarket attached -shops- bags, cloth, etc nearby but not cheap
Very Good Hotel. Staff is helpful. Good breakfast spread. Food was also good. There is a small supermarket next door where you can get all the stuff. There is a small souvenir shop in the hotel which is not as expensive as they generally are.
This is a good business hotel with very basic amenity provided for ... It's a no frills kinda hotel so don't go here expecting a big holiday resort etc but it's not bad especially for business travelers looking for a place to stay close to the airport ..there is a metro station right next to the hotel so it's well connected to rest of the city also...Breakfast selection is good , housekeeping strictly average... All in all not bad ...
We did not stay here! However, we stopped by reception last week when we were trying to find the bus to Catherine Palace and were completely lost. A lovely female member of staff kindly explained that we had gotten off the wrong metro stop! She gave us a map and pointed us in the right direction. We'll be staying at a Holiday Inn in London at the end of August and if the staff are half as helpful, we will be happy!
Did a business trip to St Petersburg, Russia and stayed at the Holiday Inn. Took the opportunity to use the Holiday Inn transfer from the airport -- cost 1,125 Rupiah and worth the money -- it is a bit hard to find the transfer on the web site -- best option to to email to the reservations at the hotel and they will get in contact with you The hotel is very close to the Moskovaskiye metro (Blue Line) and is 4 stops to the Neviskiy Prospect metro station (the main stop for the hermitage, etc) -- metro only costs 40 rupiah regardless of how many stops and transfers the hotel has a smallish gym and should meet your requirements breakfast is standard buffet - bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, fruit, cereal, cold meats, etc the rooms were large and clean -- my room had an ironing board but no iron -- i assume you have to ask at Reception to get an iron the room also did not have a small bar fridge which would have been handy the hotel also has a grocery store attached were you can get the standard grocery products the television was great but i could not attach my notebook to the television to play movies -- for some reason the hdmi option does not work reception was very friendly and the staff were also very helpful -- their English was great especially as i do not speak Russian. planning on staying here again in September
Clean hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. Good breakfast. One of the best holiday inn hotels I have stayed. The staff are polite and helpful. Very pleasant atmosphere around the hotel.
I stayed here for couple of weeks. It is located very close the subway station, so in 10 minutes you can be at the city center nevisky center. The rooms are of decent size and the bedding is comfortable, you have the option of choosing pillows of different types as per your choice. The rooms were cleaned well and the décor is modern and good quality. The hotel has 3 restaurants, lounge. Breakfast is good with something for everyone. I liked the service at the restaurant too. Dinner does not have extensive options but whatever they offer is quite tasty and fresh. Lot of restaurant / bakery close by too. they have a grocery shop attached to the hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I go back.
