Good: 1. 4 Metro (subway) stops from the Hermitage 2. Average, modern hotel; great wifi Bad: 1. Filled to capacity with tour groups 2. Too many people for the restaurant 3. No fridge in room 4. Room not cleaned until 18:00
It's a bit centric and you can get in touch with the local culture (at 6pm you will see the after workshifts movement). It is more as a business hotel oriented, the wifi is not that good, the reception is a bit better in the lobby. They are more open for customer service considering different cultures, specially at the buffets. And the souvenir shop they have has good prices and has a bit of every souvenir you may find in tourist places (in case you forgot someone).
I spent my vacation with my family in this hotel. We were for 22th to 26th June. The hotel location is close to Moskovskiye Vorota metro. This is really good advantage for the hotel . The distance of hotel to Nevsky street is just 4 metro station and it just takes 16 min. There is an exchange office near hotel and its exchange rate is good. We were three people in a room. The room was very tidy and clean and it was very big. While the hotel was full of guests our room was very quite and it had very great view of the city. The hotel breakfast was very good. I can compare it with the five star hotel which I spend my rest of vacation in Moscow. The hotel staffs were very polite. The hotel staffs' at reception desk spoke English very well and they were really helpful. There is a souvenir shop in hotel and its prices was not very expensive. We bought many good thing form it and its price was cheaper than many shops in the city. I do recommend this hotel for the people who want spend their time for holiday.
Worst place to meet up with friends. Bar girl was on her privat phone for 30 min. International hotel company????? Very sterile run hotel with no understanding of service in the 21st century. Wish u well!!
Very conveniently located near a metro station , it has very spacious rooms though not with a good view. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous, helpful with good service. Breakfast is a good spread but for a four day stay becomes repetitive with the same spread every day. Some variety needs to be added. Overall a good stay.
Rooms are very clean and tidy Service in the Hotel is awesome . Staff very friendly and helpful. Staff very helpful with ATM Machine very impressed with staff. Hotel very good location. Very far from all tourist sites
Room very clean and quiet...great comfortable sleep after busy day of touring..staff very helpful with money exchanges, directions etc... nice buffet breakfast ... handy grocery store next door...would stay again
It was very good but the location is far from the places a tourist need to go. But the bus stop is near... you can find anything u want near hotel like some where to shopping, resturants and coffeeshops. Staff is very good
Huge, impersonal hotel and old furniture. Small and not too clean rooms. Very poor continental breakfast, you have to get up very soon if you want to find something again. Scandalous that to send you postcards claim double of a postage stamp. I traveled So much and this is the first time I happen to do it. In addition, the postcards did not even reach the recipients. @gargio76
Very good hotel! We were given a room with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which was very comfortable for three people. Our room had many windows and a great view to the important Moskovskiye Ave. in front. You can make coffee, but there is no refrigerator in the room. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of food; you can ask eggs to be done your way. The hotel has restaurants and a gift store. There is a supermarket next to it, which is very convenient. It’s wifi is free. There is a metro station half a block from the hotel, in four stations you are in center city. We had an enjoyable stay here.
