Wanted to give this place 5 stars, but we had a few little hiccups. First off, the location is great, right on Upham beach. It has a pool and good AC, and the parking pass is super convenient because parking in that area was always full and you’d have to pay to park. When we got to the property, it had an extremely strong mold/mildew smell and it was very damp inside. We messaged Ben and he responded right away and told us to try plugging in the dehumidifier and see if that helped. Overall it did help a lot, the smell lessened but never fully went away and having to empty the dehumidifier constantly was a tad annoying. The next issue we ran into was the TV. It wasn’t connected to the internet properly and we tried everything to figure it out, but wasn’t successful. We messaged Ben and he asked us to send a picture so he could try to figure it out. At that point we just decided to use our laptop. The bed in the main bedroom was a metal frame and was SO squeaky. Every time my husband moved in the night, or got in and out of bed, that darn frame would squeak loudly. We would have slept in the other room but we had friends with us. The last little thing was the water pressure in the main bathroom was not the best, especially in the sink. Overall, the beach items were nice, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and it was in a great location. And Ben was very quick to respond! We would consider staying here again.
