The location was great. We loved the close proximity to the Fort Desoto beaches!!Also convenient to downtown St Pete. Condo complex was very nice, beautiful pool and on the water. The condo was very dark. The living room furniture was really sad. Chair covers were very dirty. Sofa had little holes in it. None of it was comfortable. Kitchen was ok. Bed was comfortable and was king size. I don’t think I would rent this unit again, but I would stay at the complex.

Would stay there again

We were very pleased with our stay. The bed was super-comfy and the decor was good. We especially enjoyed the pool on the property. I wish the online pics could have shown what the view would be from inside the condo, though. Perhaps the directions to the bikes, parking, and kayak at the Pass-A-Grille location could be clearer. 4.5

Great location for exploring Ft. DeSoto and St. Pete

We stayed in a second floor, one bedroom apartment. We’re over 70, so the stairs were a bit troublesome, but not too bad. Overall, the apartment was nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the furnishings were fine. The bathroom fixtures could use a little update—especially the shower—but they were adequate. The only significant problem was that the cooking equipment in the kitchen was minimal and not in especially good condition, which made cooking difficult.

Vacation On Island Holiday

We enjoyed our stay. The condo unit was just as listed and had everything we needed. The location was centralized and perfect for the activities we like to do in the area such as fishing, beach, and parks. The check in process was very smooth. We would definitely come back again!

Great location. Immaculate place.

This is the first time staying at this location. We love how clean and well equipped the condo is. This condo is located within minutes of The Dali Museum (a must visit architectural jewel). The Chihuly museum (one of of the most complete collections in the USA). It Is within minutes of North Beach/Fort Desoto. You can take a ferry within few minutes of the condo and visit Fort Desoto Key and be transported to crystal blue waters (a feeling of being in a Caribbean island). It was our first time in this condo but we are already planning to come back. Highly recommend for family with young children and active adults in general.

Nice quiet spot

The bed was decent. The towels and bathroom clean. The kitchen was nice - maybe a little more heat resistant plates/bowls - things were a little hot coming out of the microwave. The pool and hot tub on the property were nice. Everything was clean and well kept.

Nice adult property

Great place for two senior citizens. We are very active but stairs might be difficult for some. The deck is very private. If you plan to use the dishwasher bring some soap along.

Holiday Island 🏝️

The resort is amazing. The heated pool (and HOT hot tub) is right on the water. Most people were small families renting like us or older couples who called the condo community home (or 2nd home). We would definitely return to this site again! It was within biking distance to the Fort deSoto boat launch and campground (3 miles), the county beaches were a bit further. While the condo we received was not the one pictured, the property manager did his best to accommodate four of us. The condo itself was clean and updated. Everything was as expected, except for the pullout sofa. They were able to provide a rollaway for the first night and then an air mattress too for the rest of our stay. 3 in a full size bed was a little tight, but for 1 night it was fine. Anything that we needed was provided for upon request. WiFi worked great so I was able to work during the daytime as needed.

Secluded vacation enjoyment

Holiday Island is an affordable vacation spot near Ft DeSoto and St. Petersburg, Florida. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the dock and pool are spectacular. Our one bedroom had comfortable furniture and bed. There was no clear view from this particular condo. We would come again.
