Nice trip!
Pros:
1. The owner is absolutely fantastic. He called me to help with a couple questions when we checked in and we talked for about 10 minutes and he gave us an extensive list of suggested places, sights, restaurants, etc. He was super helpful and quick responses.
2. The property is adorable with a great outdoor space that feels pretty private although you are surrounded by other houses.
3. The garage has bikes, coolers, and other amenities that made our stay fun and enjoyable.
4. Space was relatively clean with the exception of the ceiling fans and under the beds. Nothing a deep cleaning wouldn't take care of.
Cons:
1. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. The property sits right on a main side street and you can hear every vehicle that goes by.
2. When we arrived, the code I was given didn't work. I messaged the owner and as we were waiting the reply we walked around to the back of the property and discovered the back door and the garage door had been left open. Please note: this is absolutely not the owners fault, I believe his cleaning person had been in a rush. In my opinion, that isn't an excuse when safety is jeopardized. After making sure the property was safe, the code was corrected and the rest of our stay was amazing besides interrupted sleep.
Overall, if you don't care about road noise this is a great property for the price. The highlight: beach is a 12 minute drive and downtown St. Pete is less than that!
