Our lil Christmas

We stayed a couple nights at Pelican Pointe. It was still be fixed up from the last hurricane in the area. The room was small, but ok for the 2 nights we stayed. I spoke with the management on the phone after our stay about the towels being cheap and losing balls of fuzz all over. there needs to be a book about amenities and things to do in the area, along with directions about the end of the stay. All in All is was a good trip. We definitely enjoyed the pool and the closeness of Salty's next door for feeding the kiddos. I would stay again.

Location is the only bonus

We had a good time at Clearwater Beach. The property is located conveniently for all activities. The pool was a nice break from the beach hustle. The room had concerns. Our bedding appeared to have been washed with a black garment that ended up all over the sheets. We advise the host, received several call about it, but never got resolved. We had to sleep on top of the covers both nights since no one came to change them out, as promised.

Perfect location

Dispite Tropical Storm Debby, we had a great time. And couldn't ask for a better spot to ride out the storm. Host is amazing!

Great communication! Property management gave details and checked in with us daily. Ample room better than typical hotel. Everything we needed was there, including beach items. Convenient location. Will book again for sure!

Location location

This property is a great location! I’ve stayed in two other units at Pelican Point. This unit is less than desirable! The bathroom was nasty. Rusty tub, mold in tub area. Ceiling tiles were badly stained. The towels were not freshly cleaned. Toilet area was rusted. The towel rack was rusty. They had 3 towels for the week with two people. The bedding was old and used black sheets. He door to outside was but sealed well so the wind noise was loud all night. The manager was responding to my concerns but not much he could do. I cannot recommend this unit the way it is at this time. Very disappointed with property for a VRBO reservation.

What an awesome spot to stay! We were there for 5 wonderful nights! The lodging is exactly as described - no hidden gotchas. The beach is across the street and you’re in the sand within 2 mins or less. There are chairs and an umbrella that you can take or you can rent a spot on the beach which is what we did personally with the big individual canopy for 2 with loungers. There is a market within walking distance or Uber will deliver groceries. Salty’s is right next door to the property and has awesome food, drinks, and live music. Coco’s is across the street and has good food, drinks and live music. Everything is within walking distance and no rental car is really needed if you don’t want to go anywhere far. There is a trolley system that we didn’t use - Jolly Trolley. So many restaurants and bars you will have so much fun many choices! My wife and I were so pleasantly surprised and the hosts were amazing!

Perfect Location

This property is perfect! Beach access across the street. Amazing food and ice cream right next to it. The owner provided beach chairs and sand toys. The owner was very easy to contact and responded very quickly. Will definitely use this listings again!

Great Location

The location is great, a few minute walk to the beach and plenty of things to do close by. The pool area was great as well The owner was very responsive, and checked in to make sure everything was as expected. Would stay here again.

Good place, great rate

The place was just as described on VRBO. Great location, sometimes a little bit loud, but that could be because of spring break. I would only recommend to the owner that they get room darkening blinds for the windows.
