I was disappointed that my room was never serviced or cleaned the three days I was there when they advertise daily. The food was hit or miss. Twice my breakfast went back because it was burned on one side. They didn’t have a good amount of the items on the menu. The service for eating averaged almost two hours per meal… way too long. I was alone and there was never more than 8 tables full with two waitstaff. Pool was nice. Sitting area nice. Small quiet hotel. Price was average. All in all it was average to good.

I liked the view of the sea in the mornings at breakfast. It was very calming. My room had a patio, also with a sea view, that was ideal for yoga. I was able to walk in the mornings on the road by the hotel. There isn’t much traffic so it was safe and convenient. That aside, the staff were amazing and hospitable.

I had a fantastic time here! I cannot talk highly enough about the staff at Trade Winds. In particular, Kerisa B and Malissa made my stay here an incredibly enjoyable experience. They were knowledgeable about activities and local amenities, took the stress out of booking excursions by doing it for me, exceptionally helpful with any questions I had during my stay here, and were genuinely interested to know what I was getting up to each day. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel safe and relaxed my entire time there. Thank you, ladies!

Although we arrived at 7pm our room was not available due to no a/c. We were then being moved to one room but this was then changed. Frustrating after 16 hours of travel. The views are great and the food also is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The room we had was a superior ocean view. It had recently been refurbished but lacked storage for clothing. One small open wardrobe with one drawer was all that was available. Travelling on business with suits and shirts etc and my wife’s dresses this was inadequate. The internet was also poor for working. As a holiday destination I guess this would not matter. Long walk to the beach and all uphill back so would benefit from a shuttle service which we were told is being considered.
