The beach view was very nice, that is about the best I can say. The food was good, the coffee shop was the best place in the entire resort the lady that works evenings was great. Drinks were terrible, obviously no training esp by pool. App did not work, had to go to front desk to reserve reservations. Check in was a mess! Unorganized, not friendly and slow. We had multiple issues, like a power outage of just our room, flooding of our entire floor the next day. Power outage I called 2 times to report this an every time was told they would send maintenance, no one came. Eventually we found the breaker box and my husband was able to fix it. We left for breakfast, came back to the room and was locked out due to the door unable to charge with the outage. Someone after 8 hrs from our first call, came to the room and fixed the door. It took them almost 2 hour with us waiting. Next day our room flooded due to storm, understandable with weather but there were no precautions at all. I called the front desk again at 1:30am and did not receive any help until 3:30 in the morning, when someone pounded on our door and told us to pack up they were moving us. Also the entrance way to our doors smelled horrible. We were right by their sewer system is all I could assume. Employees ranged from nice to rude and dismissive. We also heard many times that they were understaffed because the pay was so bad there. I have stayed at Royalton's in the past, this was nothing like the others, BAD.
