This property is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near Cruz Bay. My 3-star rating is based on the fact that we were surprised and disappointed upon initial entry. The property is listed as an “apartment with kitchen,” however, it is not clear that the layout is more accurately a kitchenette with a mini-fridge just a few feet from the bed. (This is an issue because I wake up earlier than my husband—his career is incredibly taxing so catching up on sleep during vacation is a vital part of “getting away.)”We have booked through VRBO countess times in an array countries and this is the first time we felt misled. Additionally, the price reflects -condo- as opposed to what it actually is, which is an observation based upon our previous six stays in STJ. While the host was helpful when responding to my questions regarding check-in and check-out, I received no response when I politely voiced the property layout issue on our first day of travel. As an FYI, there is a closet with hangers and wire shelving, but there are no dressers for putting away clothing. Check-in/check-out was very simple and convenient. View of Cruz Bay is as beautiful as it is pictured in description. A full photo of the room facing the bed and kitchenette -combined- would clear up any misconceptions in terms of expectations. In short, if you’re looking for a hotel room style layout, this will be great for you. If you’d like an apartment with a separate kitchen, keep looking!
