El Resto de Whistler es una hermosa y acogedora casa de piedra con vistas a los páramos, a solo cinco minutos en automóvil de la ciudad de St Ives, restaurantes, galerías y playas. La cabaña admite mascotas y ofrece estacionamiento para un auto.

El bonito jardín estilo cabaña es ideal para disfrutar de una relajante cena o una copa de vino después de un día en la playa, antes de acomodarse para disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas del atardecer. La mesa de madera y las sillas asientan cómodamente cuatro. Alternativamente, hay una pequeña mesa de bistro fuera de la cocina.

Esta es la casa de campo perfecta para una escapada romántica, una experiencia de caminata o unas vacaciones en familia.

En la planta baja hay un salón con estufa de leña y cómodos sofás de cuero. La cocina está bien equipada con horno eléctrico doble y vitrocerámica, nevera / congelador, microondas, lavadora y un comedor para cuatro.

Al frente de la propiedad también hay una pequeña sala de estar con una gran ventana con vista al jardín, un lugar ideal para tomar un café por la mañana.

Un cuarto de baño con WC también se encuentra en este piso.

Una escalera de caracol conduce arriba a dos dormitorios dobles. El dormitorio principal goza de vigas de madera con una hermosa vista sobre los páramos. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama doble y un baño con bañera.

La segunda habitación doble se encuentra en la parte delantera de la casa de campo con amplio espacio de almacenamiento y ofrece maravillosas vistas al jardín y más allá.

Hay un pequeño cobertizo de almacenamiento que alberga una secadora para su comodidad, así como espacio de almacenamiento para todos sus equipos de playa y tablas de surf. También hay una línea de lavado y grifo exterior.

En la parte trasera de la propiedad hay acceso directo a los páramos, perfecto para aquellos que disfrutan caminando.

Cozy small bolt hole

This cottage is very well equipped and perfect for two adults sharing. The property is smaller than the pictures suggest, particularly the front garden. A real plus is the outside tap which is so useful when travelling with a dog in winter or for dealing with muddy boots if you are a walker. The welcome pack was most generous. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival. The only downside to this property is the very busy road it sits along side. We stayed during December when the traffic should have been naturally lighter but we still took our lives in our hands when trying to cross the road to the field opposite. Take extreme care with small children and make sure your dog is firmly on a lead when coming out of the garden gate. Needless to say it is a risky old business pulling out from the parking space to join the traffic.

Wasps

I took my 84 yr old Mother to this Cottage for her first Holiday after my Father has passed away, First impressions were great, only issue was the spiral staircase. Please put a photo of this on your website as it is can be a problem for somebody with mobility issues. Secondly was the issue of a wasps nest right outside her bedroom window. We first noticed them on Thursday and after removing after 50 that had got inside , kept the window closed and thought that would be the end of it. She was then kept awake all night by them buzzing around in the roof above her head and they were still getting in. Rang escape to St Ives on Friday who said this had been a problem before and they promptly sent someone round to sort it. He sprayed stuff into the roof and after assuring us no more would get in, to keep window closed and left. However to our horror approx. half an hour later, the wasps started coming up through the floorboards, it was horrendous. They were in floor as well !!The noise was incredible. My Mother was crying and upset, so I took the decision to leave early and drive home through the night to Manchester. I have complained to Escape to St Ives about this and have showed them the videos I took , nobody expects to have this experience and have told them I sincerely hope they sort out this 'large colony 'as the pest man called it before they (and you) rent the cottage out to more guests, especially families with children. It was not the relaxing Holiday I had planned for my Mother as you can imagine. But the Cottage is beautiful and well equipped, just think more checks should have been made to the outside of the property to ensure wasps had not returned from previous time.

Gorgeous week at this lovely cottage

I left a review at the cottage on the feedback form. We really loved our stay here at the cottage. It was a really cosy cottage, and felt a home from home. One thing I forgot to mention is that my daughters said the bedroom Wardrobe smelt funny inside. The front bedroom. They said it smelt stale. We kept spraying body spray in it.

Whistlers Rest

Property was everything we had hoped it to be - the owners thought of everything there was even plasters in the kitchen drawer which came in handy when my daughter banged her toe. My wife is very picky when if comes to staying away and she absolutely loved it too - we will definitely come back

Nettes Haus an der Hauptverkehrsstraße

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön. Aber die Wohnzimmercouchen waren dunkelbraunes Leder und es war fast kein Licht im Wohnzimmer. Die Landstraße vor dem Haus ist sehr befahren und gefährlich zu begehen. Die Küchenausstattung war sehr gut und die Verwaltungsgesellschaft war sehr professionell. Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in St Ives verbracht.

Had a fantastic stay at whistlers rest very cosy well equipped kitchen very quiet surroundings lovely view across the moors . Bus dropped us off right outside gate. Everything you could possibly want at this cottage .would certainly stay at whistlers rest again .Wish it was our property .

Wonderful stay in lovely cottage

Arrived at Whistlers Rest after a long, tedious 10 hour journey. The Welcome pack was just that - very welcome - especially the Prosecco! It was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The cottage itself couldn't be faulted, charmingly decorated with everything we needed. We were fortunate to be there during glorious weather, we never go to Cornwall expecting it so it was an added bonus.
