Nice place

Location is handy for shops, pub and a couple of restaurants. Parking is good and the place great for the two of us. The park just across the street was ideal for walking our dog.

Bay Dream delight

Bay Dream proved to be an excellent choice for a holiday when staying at Carbis Bay. Modern, clean and comfortable. Located at the top of a hill which led down to Carbis Bay itself. A beautiful beach. Sea views from the driveway. Whilst just off the main road into St Ives noise and traffic were not a problem. Small courtyard outweighed by a park directly opposite the property a bonus if on holiday with a dog. St Ives itself with its independent shops, eateries galore and numerous beaches in the locale continues to impress. Owners living in the adjoining property were friendly and unobtrusive. A fab week.

Excellent place to stay!

The property was perfect for our stay. Plenty of space and really modern and well kept. The arrival hamper was a really nice touch also. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to explore.

Lovely stay in Caribs bay

Highly recommend this property it has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. Grant the owner very helpful and full of knowledge places to eat, places of interest etc. we will definitely be back.

A great little gem

We had a fantastic stay at Bay Dream. The location was perfect, we had a great time exploring all the nearby beaches and towns. Although Carbis Bay beach is beautiful I would recommend a car to get around. Bay Dream was clean, cosy and a nice base to stay. They even allowed our dog ! We would definitely come back and would recommend to our family and friends.

A little Gem

Fabulous little place , ideal to get around Cornwall , and we did ! Perfect for a couple and a pooch , the hosts were lovely they actually live next door so if need anything, they are not far away not that we did but they offered advice and checked in that all was good . Everything you would need in Bay Dream , lovely welcome pack too . Highly recommend and will be back

Enjoyable

Hi,we had a lovely stay at Bay Dream. Clean & comfortable. Out of the way of hussle and bussle with good amenities for us & our dog,( a couple of dogs friendly restaurants.Costcustter cross the road, Tesco’s near by, field across the road ideal for dog owners. Nice walk into St Ives or 3 minute train ride to find a lovely quaint town & lovely sandy beaches) it’s was ideal for us, and we are looking forward to returning next year. Carbis Bay not Bay Dream?

Poor quality mattress and bedding which was disappointing given the cost of the accommodation. Location details ambiguous: property is on the main road, next to a bus-stop and post box, so lots of stop/start traffic. A nod to Christmas would have been nice as this was last w/e before Chridtmas. Well-appointed, but didn't try cooking a meal.

A Great Place To Stay

The house is very well layed out.We arrived and it was clean and welcoming with everything that you need for a holiday. It is on the main road to St. Ives but you don't hear any road noise. It's perfectly placed to get into St Ives. There are regular buses and you can get there in about 7 minutes. So you don't have to try to park or navigate the very narrow roads in the town. Its a good base to go sight seeing and also has fantastic facilities near by. A great fish and chip shop(be warned massive portions!!!)great pubs and restaurants,we highly recommend Cafe Casita. Great food and atmosphere.There are so many things to be positive about!!! Two small negatives,if you're taking your four legged friend ,the outside space is small but this is far outweighed by the fact that opposite the house there is a park. So that is great for giving your dog his exercise. If he hasn't had enough during the day.Also the walk to the beach from the house is longer than we thought and all down hill. We thought it would be nearer. We would definitely like to stay again.Thank you Grant and Emma.
