The rooms need update, refrigerator was old, bathroom needs improvement, carpet is gross. I killed 2 roaches during my stay. You can't leave the trash in the room cause the roaches would be all over the place. Costumer service was terrible from the receptionists, they're rude (i can tell they're all related) and not welcoming. They made me pay extra $10 cash for room upgrade because i booked a smoking room by mistake. Why they couldn't charge my credit card i used to pay for the room? That didn't fit right for me but i paid it anyways. They didn't give me a receipt of my stay until i asked for it when i checked out. All i got from the receptionist was "you can leave the room key on the desk" while she's busy making her coffee.

Very dated room, carpeting hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time it was frayed and just plain old. The carpet along the walls was filthy. Saw one roach crawling up a wall at night. Staff are very unfriendly. Location is great however.

Quick easy check in. Nice, large room. Top location.

Not much shallow pool for kids. Had to pay cash to park a second car 😞

I will be back. A great place. Clean comfortable . helpfull staff

Airconditioner filter wasn't cleaned for long long time. Room smells like dust. Breakfast is very poor. Juice in dispenser mixed with water. It was right to say water was mixed with juice.

Super affordable considering it is well taken care of and directly across the street from the beach. Next door to a great restaurant/pub, Salt Life, and a quick uber ride to St. Augustine Amphitheater as well as downtown St. Augustine. Well be staying again.

Lingering Smoke smell in room was the biggest issue. This is an old beachside Motel so I didn't expect much in the way of newness but it was pleasant. Staff was very nice and the location of this place is superb. Salt Life is literally 30ft next door and if you're going to a concert at St. Augustine Amphitheater then this is the place for you. Noise is pretty loud outside from Restaurant and you can hear anyone being loud in the parking lot. A simple box fan drowns out all noise. For the price this place is superb.

It’s a place to sleep, if you can handle the beds.

We had a great time at this location. We will reserve another room in the future. The rooms were nice and cozy, the hotel staff was very welcoming.

The room smelled really bad (mold). The mattress on the bed is old and not comfortable.

Staff was nice! Room was satisfactory! It is right across from the Beach!

The location is great tons of restaurants within walking distance and the beach is right across the street. Nice pool also

I have stayed here twice in the past five years, It is a nice place, Located only 10 minutes from Historical Downtown. I will probably stay here again, when I get back to that area. Has microwave, and fridge in room.

The room smell when you first get in. It's roomy and the bed was nice. The first impression at the desk wasn't friendly. Besides that, is close to the beach and no far from the historic city. The pool is a joke. The breakfast was ok, noting special. You get for what you pay.

Overall, decent property. Salt Life Restaurant across the parking lot has live music at night (go sit in the chairs by the pool and relax, listening to it). Chairs outside each room would be nice. Major construction directly across the street on the beach, so no actual view, but just a few minute walk.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. For a "half" handicapped room(had a tub, not a roll-in shower), it was ok for a quick stay. The room had just enough space for a wheelchair to get between the dresser and bed. In the bathroom, like most hotels, it needed a lower handheld showerhead and the water control to be in the middle of the side wall. The soap dish should be lower. The side safety rails around the toilet were a good addition. The bathroom door needed a lower hook for clothes. A wheelchair bound person can't reach the one up higher. A lower hook is also handy for closing the door from the inside. The room was clean except for the carpet, which was very dirty. Had to wear flip flops or socks. Unfortunately, we were close to the office and cleaning supply room, so it was a little noisy in the morning. The safety chain on the door should be replaced with something a little more sturdy. Overall, it was okay for an old beach motel and a quick visit.

easy to get too, close to shop, beach. restaurant,
