The hotel is older, which is fine. But, the floor of room and bathroom was filthy. You would not want to walk around without shoes. The bed sheets were clean, the toilet was clean. I wiped down the floor around the toilet to try to convince myself I was being picky, it was gorgeous. I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

The property is not beachfront; you need to walk about one block to reach the beach. The area is very pleasant for walking, and I felt safe during my stay. One small suggestion would be for the front desk staff to be more welcoming. Also, when I called with a question, I felt my concern was not fully addressed before the call ended.

After a hiccup with the check in, everything else went well and we had a good time walking the beach, checking out the local art studio, and dining at the Salt Life bar and grille.
