The hotel is not near the historic district as stated. We arrived in town early and checked with hotel to see if we could get into the room early.Although there was a room ready they wanted $45 to check in early. They also charge $10 for parking. If visiting the historic district I would look elsewhere, someplace where you can actually walk to the downtown area from. This place is ok if you need a place to sleep in a pinch.

I loved staying here. The staff really got me out of a pickle. I had reserved a room across the street that there’s no way anybody but a drug addict. It could stay there. I saw the Comfort Inn and suites across the street. I went in. The staff was very helpful. The management was very helpful and I ended up staying there for quite a few days. You won’t be disappointed. Yes it’s off the beaten path from downtown Saint Augustine, but it’s very well-maintained very clean.

Room was very clean, variety of pillows on bed, staff very informative of the area. Restaurants that were suggested from front desk were great. We stayed 3 days and had no noise as other have stated. This hotel very close to main trolly station which we used alot to get around instead of driving. Breakfast was nice, and included eggs, sausage bacon and sausage gravy. any hotel that includes proteins with breakfast is my favorite. Highly suggest this hotel.

I had an unpleasant surprise when I checked in at Confort Inn: The desk clerk told me that there would be an added $10 day parking fee. ( in the Confort Inn parking lot!!!) Expedia was shady to not have disclosed the $10 additional fee. Shady was of doing business.

This is a very nice property, clean and on the “main drag”. The best part of the hotel is the staff, from checkin throughout our stay, the desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast was excellent, and the young lady preparing the food was very nice and helpful. I’d stay here again. Lastly, though not in the “heart” of downtown St. Augustine, it was easy to get down. We took the Old Town Trolley, which was great. Look for Texas Tim to be your driver!

The hotel staff are generally friendly people. The room I was given upon arrival had a non-functioning bathroom fan, and the toilet paper roll was almost empty, as were the bottles of body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. I actually took pictures of this, and the sheets smelled of sweat; I don't think they were 100% clean. They charged me a $50.00 fee in case anything was damaged in the room, which they still haven't refunded me even though I left the room in perfect condition.
