Room was clean, bedding a bit worn out. Nice surprise to have gummy worms left in the room for us. Breakfast was really good, nicest lady working there. Check in slow and tedious, but checkout was quick and kind service. Bought or aquarium tickets at a discount at the receptionist in the hotel in the morning. Nice stay.

I had a 3 night stay booked for work. The front desk was professional and informative. Felt a bit dated but… seemed to be nice! I went to sleep, woke up, went to work and had a couple itchy bumps pop up on my shoulder. I thought they were mosquito bites. Got off work, went to the anglers lodge, slept, woke up with 3 new bumps in a line on my arm. Asked my co-workers what they thought. They said BED BUGS! I’ve never dealt with them before so I did some research. Then decide to go look for them on my lunch break. THERE!!! Not only that, but 2 more popped up on my FINGERS! I was there less than 10 minutes!!! I went back to work and when I got off work I decided to address the situation. The front desk lady said “ugh, I really thought we took care of this problem” ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! At that point, I was told “we can’t move you to another room due to the circumstances because they spread” um, duh. I’m not staying there anyway. I had to heat treat all of my belongings prior to going anywhere else, pay for a new hotel room, and felt shunned due to things that were out of my control. I didn’t get checked into a new hotel until 11pm. I was also told that the manager would be in contact the following day. Here it is 7pm and I still have yet to hear anything.

Pillows were terrrible, bed not much better, no staff at desk when went to check in for over 30 minutes, when went to front desk night before check out to ask for late check out the staff said hitel was to full and they would need the room so she couldnt guve a late check out... what? That makes zero semse. Best part of atay was the breakfast although the attendant was a little obsessed with the pancake machine.
