2-Bedroom Apartment in Village Center, Southwest Harbor- "Seawall"
Nestled in Southwest Harbor, this delightful apartment, “Seawall,” offers partial views of the Harbor and is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and cafes. Partially renovated in 2025, the unit is on the second level of a five-level condo building. The space offers 2 cozy bedrooms with queen beds and a futon couch/bed in the living area for additional guests.
Southwest Harbor is known as the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. There are numerous hikes, walks, and attractions in nearby Acadia National Park, including the Seawall, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Echo Lake Beach, and hiking trails. The Island Explorer Bus (free) stops at the center of town, providing access to all the villages of Mount Desert Island. There are several restaurants nearby that serve lobster!
When you book, I will send you a curated “Acadia and Mount Desert Island Quick Adventure Guide.” The Guide features highlights of Acadia National Park and details for local restaurants, cafes, and hikes. It includes links for must-see places in the park, the Island Explorer Bus system, activities, and some hidden gems!

This unit is located on the second floor, with a streetside ground-level entrance at the front of the building and a rear entrance with outside stair access. The street-side entrance opens to a hallway with interior entrances to two units- “Seawall” and “Manset.”
*Kitchen: Coffee Maker (Keurig)- coffee pods: light, medium, dark roasts; and decaf Electric Tea Kettle- a variety of tea selections provided, including decaf Refrigerator/Freezer Microwave Oven Dishwasher Cookware Olive oil, cooking spray, salt & pepper
*Laundry: Full-size washer and dryer (free); Tide Free and Gentle detergent provided
*Outdoor Space: Small deck at back entrance with table and chairs, partial harbor view. This deck is designated for the Seawall unit. Be aware that the entrance to the three upstairs units is at the far end of this deck.
*Parking: Free shared parking for the building is available in the back parking lot, although there are no designated spaces.
*Television: ROKU Smart TV- You can log in to your apps and services. No cable.

*Air Conditioning & Fans: Each bedroom is equipped with a portable air conditioning unit. There are ceiling fans in the main living area and each bedroom, as well as a portable fan in each bedroom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We will send instructions on accessing the apartment after the reservation is made. You are welcome to contact us during your stay if you have any needs or concerns.
Please Note: This is an older building located on busy Main Street. There is regular traffic and traffic noise, and limited insulation between floors may allow noise from neighbors. If there is excessive noise from neighbors, guests can contact me to help resolve the issue.
Please respect the building’s quiet hours, which are in effect between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please refrain from running the washer or dryer during that time to minimize noise disturbance to other units.
Check Out: Please check out of the unit by 11:00. We require enough time to clean the unit properly before the next guests’ arrival. You will be charged a $100 fee if you are out of the unit after 11:15, and an additional $50 for every 15-minute interval you are late thereafter.
No Pets are allowed. If you are found to have a pet, you will be charged an additional $400 Pet Fee.
No Parties or Events are allowed. In the case of a party or event, we will terminate your stay without reimbursement, and you will be charged an additional $1000 fee.

Wonderful stay in Southwest Harbor! The location is perfect as it is away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but yet close enough to Acadia National Park. The place was very clean with plenty of free parking.

Perfect Maine Stay
This property was perfect for our family of five! Comfortable beds and everything was very neat and clean. Would not hesitate to book this place again! It was so helpful to have laundry detergent provided, as well as things like ziplock baggies. It's the little details that makes places so nice to stay in! The only thing to add would be an electric water kettle for the tea drinkers.

Weekend getaway for Acadia
The rental was outstanding. Clean, conveniently located, close to downtown Southwest Harbor restaurants and stores, but just a couple blocks down the street so it was nice and quiet. Great, convenient parking right behind the building.Helpful, fun information from the host, along with outstanding communication from the host Ed.We loved this place and would highly recommend it for anyone heading to the Acadia area or just looking for nice getaway.Thank you!
