Not Happy
Known issues where not addressed and hoped that we wouldn't complain.
This was a get away for our anniversary and my birthday. The first night was super hot and there was no AC and the windows where painted shut.
The solution was to put a portable AC unit in the room that sounded like a freight train. Which made no sense since the second night temp dropped into the 50's and we found out there was no heat as well.
The property manager offered a 30% discount which did not make up for the absolutely ruined first night and with no sleep the next day.
We were moved to a room that also had no working HVAC. The second night was a little more tolerable snce the temperature had dropped, but the fact that both rooms had Zero HVAC and this was known when the rooms were offered is unacceptable. I expect a full refund.
Our friends that we convinced to stay with us, were not given their room code had to go into the empty office (No one on site) and search for their physical room key.
This was unbelievable since we get VRBO places often.
The property manager told me to call someone else to see if we could resolve this issue.
