Spectacular view with problems that need to be resolved

First off, the view is amazing! The problem is the condition of the house. We had no clear instructions as to where to check in. We were told to drive across town to check in at a property management company. We got a call 11 minutes after check in that we could go straight to the house using a code. We arrived and the house has such a cool layout. The problem is the cleanliness. Pictures, lampshades were broken. The house was VERY dusty. The dishes in the cupboard were dirty, and there was mouse poop all over inside the kitchen cupboards. The stove and fridge need a deep cleaning. There was no propane in the bbq. They have a bunch of utensils but no sharp knives. Small amount of towels considering there is a spa. I hope that someone contacts the person who cleans the property and let them know they are not doing a good job. I tried to contact the property management company twice with no call back. The house layout itself is really cool. I hope these small things get fixed so I can make this an annual visit.

Amazing view of Lake Tahoe!

This house had a spectacular view of the lake! We spend most of our time on the third story deck, especially around sunset. Very convenient location to casinos, restaurants, Edgewood Golf Club, and marina. Lots of space for our group! We had a wonderful weekend at this house in South Lake Tahoe.

Fantastic House, property management could be better

This house was absolutely perfect for a vacation with friends. The location is absolutely perfect and the house itself is a ton of fun. Beyond the obvious views, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the place and little things like the old mix CDs in the stereo. The check-in process was pretty terrible. I called the day before to see if I could check in early, they said to call first thing in the morning. A couple hours later, while on a flight, they called me to see when I would arrive, as if I hadn't just called.... I called them morning of per their instructions and they still couldn't tell me if we could check in early. Finally I get a call from them, while on the slopes, explaining I would have to drive across town to sign paper work to be able to check in. Super inconvenient when all we wanted to do was go straight to the place and jump in the hot tub. My friends that weren't skiing that day (reason for early check-in) then had to wait in their cars until I was done skiing and could drive across town. Management gave us keys which have a big fine if you lose them, but the unit has a key pad...so you don't need keys. Just very unprofessional overall from the property management.
