The house was great and felt very spacious. The backyard was wonderful, and it was nice to have a private area where my little kids could run around. It was also a perfect location being about equal distance walk to the beach and downtown. The neighborhood was quiet, and we felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous! This house is the perfect South Haven vacation home. Every detail is thought of in this home. We loved the cart for taking our things to the beach, the comfy furniture in every room, the plethora of dishes (even a cake stand for my birthday cake!), the addition of hooks and storage places in every nook and cranny. The home was so clean and welcoming when we arrived. The yard is gorgeous and the screened porch really helped us enjoy the summer evenings. We absolutely loved this home and would rent here without hesitation. We just love South Haven and staying close to the beach and town made it easy to enjoy.

10/10 A true gem!

We’ve been coming to South Haven for decades, and this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. So comfortable! The screened-in porch is very special. Lots of little touches—a tap to rinse off feet AND bars to hang towels outside. Pristine condition and landscaping. Very comfortable living room and dining area. Fabulous location. Highly recommend!

My 2 sisters and I stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed the home. It was clean and had everything needed. The screened porch and lovely backyard was most enjoyable. Beds were a little on the firm side for us as we all have Tempur Pedic beds. No air conditioning upstairs, but fans and open windows kept it cool enough. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

The place could be great. It has a good location, adorable yard and a wonderful screened in porch. However, the floors were dirty (socks were dark within an hour) and my in laws and I stepped on sand and dirt in kitchen and the first floor bedroom. The carpet going up the steps and in the hallway is quite dirty and probably should be replaced. Additionally, two of the beds were missing top sheets and I am fairly certain that most places do not wash the comforters/top bedspread. This left me using a bed without covers at all. If the cleaning could be improved (I think a clean floor and sheets on all the beds are reasonable expectations), then the stay would have been great. I am not comfortable at a place that doesn't feel clean, but if these issues do not matter to you, the stay could be nice.

Relaxing summer trip

We had a great location & plenty odf space for 2 mid-aged sisters & 2 twenty something kids. Loved being able to walk to beach & town and the house had room for everyone to have their own space. A much needed chance to relax & recharge

So charming

Absolutely loved our stay and the cottage. The neighborhood and town were so quaint and lovely. Property had everything we needed. Had fun playing darts in the basement and enjoying the outside patio as well. Beach was wonderful!

Very Clean with a Beautiful Backyard

Property is very clean and well-maintained. Backyard and screened in porch are wonderful- wish we had brought s’mores and lighter pack to use in fire pit. Upstairs bathroom is very tiny (closet size) but we are a family of 3 so it was fine for us. A suggestion is to include a box of Kleenex in essentials paper package but otherwise had everything we needed. Location is perfect walking distance to restaurants, park and beach- overall a wonderful stay!

Perfect location and proximity to downtown and beach (can walk to both)! Loved the screened in porch and quiet street as well. Beds were pretty hard, but that’s the only minor complaint.

Loved this house!

My family feel in love with this cute little house and the beautiful quiet neighborhood. My teenage boys wanted to move in! We walked to the beach and downtown area easily and wished we could stay longer. The house has everything you need and a lot of thoughtful touches just to make your stay more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable Home!

Very nice house with everything you could ever need. They have thought of everything! Short walk to the beach down a street of beautiful homes. Short walk to shops and food. We loved the screened in porch. We enjoyed our long weekend and would definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Place for Family

What a beautifully landscaped yard perfect for a 3 & 5 yr. old to exert some play time when not at the Beach. The surprise Air-Hockey was a real treat and grilling & s'mores at the fire pit was perfect.

Sweet stay at Sweet Pea Cottage
