Poor description; old images; quiet place

The photos on the website are dated. The pool area is nicer than the images shown, furniture is newer and the pool is heated. We had a great time there one evening. The bar area was opened but they did not serve the guests at the pool. Half of the hotel has been remodeled and has updated finishes - And, that is what we were expecting, but it was not offered. We stayed at the outdated wing. The climate is hot and humid, so be aware that the restaurant area does not have air conditioning. We returned from dinner on the first night out to find out that there was not a front desk person available after 8:00pm - And the hotel was in the dark (no emergency lights either) when we returned. Power outage... and the hotel does not have a power generator when electricity goes out. Besides that, the staff was helpful and kind. We ate out most of the time, but decided to have breakfast there...the artesan bread and marajo' butter + doce de leite were amazing.

Foram muito cordiais e ajudaram com diversas questões como travessia de barco e deslocamento na ilha. A comida no restaurante é muito boa e com preço razoável. O quarto não é grande ou novo, mas condiz com as fotos do anúncio. Piscina e instalações do hotel bem mantidas. Sugiro avaliar oferecer bicicleta para os hóspedes, bem como terminar a reforma em frente ao hotel. A equipe foi extremamente simpática e compreensível, o que nos fez sentir extremamente acolhidos.

Decepcionado.

Hotel velho em condições precárias. Nosso quarto, numa das noites uma goteira nos fez acordar às 2 horas da manhã e tivemos que trocar de quarto. Felizmente atenderam a nossa ligação, pois não existia funcionário no hotel no horário, aparentemente só um vigia, mas não o vi. A senhora que nos atendeu, fez a limpeza de outro quarto, apesar de não ter goteiras as condições também não eram muito boas. O que me espanta é que o valor da diária é muito alto para o padrão das acomodações e o estabelecimento é muito bem avaliado. Acho que me hospedei no hotel errado. Só tenho a elogiar os funcionários.
