The house is beautifully renovated, and is very quiet and clean. It was a perfect haven for our family! We enjoyed walking the gorgeous property. We were in the area for a wedding at Club Lake and the house provided a perfect location as it is close to that venue as well as to historic Mt Dora.

This is a gem of a property! It truly is a big, beautiful farmhouse, and it’s very comfortable. It has all the little things you would expect and more. The layout is great for small group entertaining, we had the wedding party over for some karaoke! Everybody wanted a tour of the house. The property is big and very private, and the kids loved the pool. Definitely recommend this property.

This home is absolutely charming and large. We had eight ladies staying here. There is plenty of space to hang together or apart. The drive into Mt. Dora is an easy short trip.

We had the most wonderful stay at this farmhouse in Florida. It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful—tucked away and very secluded, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed and then some, and it was incredibly comfortable. You could really tell a lot of thought went into making guests feel at home.

When staying at 100 year old property, you can expect a unique experience. Overall, we loved our stay and would return. It was a great place for a large group. The only downside was the only downstairs bedroom which was a small room with convertible sofa. The sofa is very hard and we did have a member of our family who really needed to stay downstairs due to a disability. There are many levels and lots of stairs so not ideal if you do have someone with mobility issues. Otherwise, a great place to stay. Thank you!

Relaxing and peaceful

We had the best stay at the farmhouse! The house was clean, relaxing and cozy, and well stocked with everything you would need! The kids loved the open shower downstairs and playing in the pool. Our stay was so enjoyable we already started planning our next trip!

Must Stay- Country Charm

The property manager so quick to respond to our questions and needs. Extremely accommodating. The property sits on 6 acres adjacent to pastures. Total privacy and solitude. We wanted a place to relax and recharge and this property delivered. A beautifully maintained southern home with an awesome in-ground pool, gas grill, deck and a full complement of patio furniture.

Relaxing in nature

Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed the Mount Dora area. We loved the pool. We loved the house and property as well. Just beautifully peaceful. Lots of room for all of us to enjoy. We wish that the outdoor furniture could’ve been a little bit cleaner. But everything else was excellent.

A great alternative to the typical Florida tourist experience!

We loved staying in this historical farmhouse next to a field with cows! The town of Mount Dora is so wonderful, and we had a great time. If you're not people who need to lie on the beach all day when you're in Florida, give this place a try!

Gorgeous and the luck house!

Five moms with our teen daughters traveled to the area for a volleyball tournament and we left with amazing memories in part to this beautiful home...and our girls won the tournament so I will always believe the house had a part in that!Communications with the host were prompt and detailed.House was easy to find using Google maps, even arriving late at night.Area seemed safe and tranquil.We did bring some groceries with us but house pretty much had everything we needed for our stay.Too cold for the pool, but a few of us were tempted in a cold plunge because it was so beautiful.We all fell in love with the area and the house.Mt Dora is just a few minutes away and a must see.Wonderful stay, experience and memories!

Didn’t want to Leave

There were seven of us on a girls Christmas weekend. There was plenty of room and everything was better than described. The Christmas decorations were wonderful. It felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. Everything was very clean and well organized. The front porch was amazing and the pool area tranquil. Our Nextdoor neighbor cows were just an added touch to the peaceful experience. It only took us about 15 minutes to get to Downtown Mount Dora. It was Christmas Walk weekend so it was very busy, but still a lot of fun with unique shops and restaurants. We are all ready to return and bring our families back for more than a weeeknd.

Charming home

Very charming, large home with amazing chefs kitchen. Confortabke wrap around porch with lots of places to eat outside. Beautiful pool. We all enjoyed the outside firepit on a cool night. Mattresses were top quality. Highly recommend. night.
