Beautiful setting, not far from town & easy to find but felt remote - we saw/heard owls, frogs, bats, all kinds of songbirds and possibly coyotes. Room was comfortable and had all the basics. Loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the creek!

This spot was just what I needed - was pet-friendly; was close to amenities but tucked away in the redwoods by the creek; and had a very cozy Santa Cruz community vibe. There were some wifi issues but EmKay did his best to address them. I would book again.

Really cute little cabin in the woods. Owners were super friendly and accommodating. The place is the definition of tranquil. There is little to no cell reception, however, the WiFi works great. Only minutes from Santa Cruz, whether you’re looking to surf or hike the redwoods, this is the place!!

We stayed here to access the Redwoods in Big Basin State Park and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Wonderful weekend getaway.

The view was as advertised and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The entire compound was surrounded by a fence and gate so we felt safe walking around at night.

Beautiful spot in nature

Adorable group of cabins located in nature next to a small river with redwoods on the property. Our cabin was small but clean and comfortable. Owner was friendly and lives onsite with his family. There is a wonderful shared outdoor spot next to the river for outdoor dining, relaxing, games, etc. a short drive to Capitola, Santa Cruz and access to PCH (Monterey and Big Sur). Loved our stay here!

Emkay was a great host. Accommodated an early check-in which was great for us. Was there with anything that we needed. Such a great piece of property in Santa Cruz mountains would definitely recommend.

Sweet Little Cottage

We loved our stay at Emkay’s place. Nice and quiet with a great little wooded beach to access as well as hot tub to use. Emkay was friendly and easy to communicate with. We spent so much time exploring the area, it was so nice to have such a clean and comfortable place to land each night. Would stay again!

What a cute place!

We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin. With autumn in full bloom, the beauty of the trees and creek, the birds chirping, quiet nights, hot tub, nearby trails, and the coast just 20 minutes away, it was exactly what we needed for a restful and enjoyable getaway. Emkay is an excellent host—can’t wait to return!
