I stayed at the Yeovil Court hotel as a single traveller on a business trip. Booked this accommodation as the reviews were good and the price was within budget. The reception was fine and checking in process fairly swift. Room is comfortable and clean if a little noisy due to the busy main road I overlooked. Now to my complaints: Only heavy curtains at the window so if i wanted to undress or have any privacy they had to remain closed at all times. The walls are very thin you can hear the tv in the room next door even though the volume was on low. The floors creak like nothing I have heard before! The hallways, the rooms, the stairs! If you appreciate sleep then do not stay here, you will be woken by every footstep, every door shutting every minuscule noise travels across the hotel. Good breakfast though, but stay elsewhere if you can.
This lovely friendly hotel was very close to the Hospice we were visiting. It was a peaceful location and we were in the annexe which was really comfortable. Our meals were very good . We were able to come and go from the Hospice without any problem. Also visited Montacute House between visits and explored the delightful village of Montacute.
We stayed here for one night, a lovely hotel with great staff who can't do enough for you. Lovely meal in hotel restaurant. Room was big comfortable and very clean. Very pleased with this hotel would definitely return
Had afternoon tea here for my friends baby shower. Food was amazing & plenty of it , such good value for money . Had loads to spare . Staff were friendly and very helpful . Definitely worth a visit and would go again .
Visited for an evening meal Good quality food with efficient service from a clearly well trained and efficient staff team Service very polite and efficient Nice ambiance in the restaurant and bar area Convenient for Yeovil town centre but outside of the town in a quiet location
Fantastic meal. Welcome glass of prosecco on arrival. Four course meal - all presented extremely well and delicious. Staff very professional and friendly. Very impressed and recommend to all. Special thanks to Louise.
Our family of 4 stayed for three nights 23-26th Dec in the family suite (visiting family for Christmas in Yeovil). This was more than adequate, nice spacious room with 2 sofa beds for the kids, good sized bathroom with nice shower. The hotel was very quiet (to be expected at this time of year i suppose). We eat in the restaurant on our first night and all meals were excellent. Bar prices were reasonable as well. Very good choice of food at breakfast time (hot and cold). A special mention to all the staff who were extremely helpful and friendly throughout out visit. Nothing was to much trouble for them, I emailed prior to our stay about special arrangements for Father Christmas, and the hotel went way beyond our expectations to help us with this. My son also requires a special diet which was dealt with without issue. Thanks again, and we will definitely stay here again!
Thank you for a lovely little stay. We arrived at just after 9pm and a very quick check in. As I had my young daughter with me the lady quickly brought me a large glass of wine to our room so we could get her settled quickly. After a short time she was not going to settle in bed with me and wanted the sofa bed, a phone call to reception quickly had a lady at the door with some linen and a duvet. They were busy with a Christmas party and did I feel a bit bad but the lady was very accommodating and offered to make the sofa bed up but I did that myself. Breakfast was very nice and plenty available. Very tasty bacon and thick slices, nicely poached eggs and a box proved for the rest of bacon sandwich my daughter didn't eat for the long drive home. Our room was immaculate and spotless, bed was comfy and shower nice and hot. A very pleasent flying visit and extremely good value for money. I'll defiantly stay again. Thank you again.
Came for an overnight stay while passing through Yeovil. Nice hotel, lovely room, good evening meal, and good breakfast. Friendly and efficient service, will definitely stay here again on future trips.
