Suba por Main Street hasta la nueva rampa de lanzamiento de barcos y vea todas las antiguas casas históricas. Great property in a quiet and convenient location

We stayed here for a recent vacation to Newport and the Cape Cod area. The property was ideally located between those two areas making for great little day trip throughout our stay. The space itself was very clean and well maintained. Check in and check out instructions were easy and well described. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

We had a great stay in a beautiful, comfortable property. The description could have been a little more complete in that the stairs up to the second floor were very steep. Also, the laundry facilities are in the basement.

House of History

This property has been refurbished with a labour of love it's easy to see. A glance through the album of photos tells the same story. We really enjoyed our stay especially when we walked the streets and saw similar properties in this quiet but convenient location. A small issue with cutlery was quickly sorted although I would recommend an upgrade in the cutlery and pots and pans department. I would recommend that anyone with mobility issues should not book upstairs as the staircase is challenging as well as the one into the washing room. However that's easily solved by booking the ground floor apartment which I believe is identical in layout. The whole experience is one to remember. Well done Craig and Claudia.

Wonderful stay

The accommodations were great. They rental was clean and quiet. It was conveniently located for all our needs in a nice neighborhood. This was the second year in a row we’ve stay here. We had a wonderful time!

Summer haven

Our stay at the Issac Pierce House was perfect. The apartment is clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to the family we were visiting. We went for nice walks in the evening. We slept well and were refreshed each morning. We plan to stay again!

Charming!

We loved the charm of this 1700's house. It had the "old" feel, but was bright, airy, comfortable, and well-stocked. The mattress in our bedroom was extremely easy on the back! Our walks at the nearby park and trails were wonderful, as was traipsing down main street to see the old homes. Some of the stately houses were apparently owned by sea captains long ago and even had widow walks at the top! The view from the sunny front windows looked out at the river and seabirds. This was truly a wonderfu experience!

Great location and property

Great experience, great location & a great place!

Our family of five stayed here for 7 days and absolutely loved it. A quiet, safe neighborhood on the second floor of a nice older house with lots of history. Old stairways are fascinating and the apartment itself has plenty of upgrades. Craig was awesome and if we had any questions or requests he was very timely and efficient. I highly recommend staying here and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Lovely Spot

My husband and I and two boys (8, 10) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were clean and spacious fort our needs. The boys had never been in a 2nd floor apartment of an older home and were fascinated by the windy staircase and all the "secret places" in the apartment. Go figure! It was a bit of nostalgia for me, having spent my entire childhood in a very similar home! This is a perfect spot on the outskirts - well within driving range of Providence, Newport, Jamestown, beaches, etc. I highly recommend Easton Beach in Rhode Island for any out-of-state day travelers. Horse Neck Beach on the MA side was huge, but unfortunately on this trip it was full of red seaweed/algae and a little too rocky for our taste. Craig was a great host: we got checked in early and he was responsive and helpful in locating beaches for us. We enjoyed nightly walks along Main Street very much. Thank you, Craig, for a wonderful end-of-summer getaway. We would definitely return.

Outstanding

The historic property was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, extremely clean, especially in the Covid-19 era. We loved the location close to the river and were close to the beach, sightseeing in RI and just loved the house overall. Thank you Craig for such an awesome stay. We'll be back!!
