This newly renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom mountain-chic condominium offers the ultimate mountain getaway in Snowmass Village. Located at the exclusive Chamonix on Assay Hill, this condo can accommodate up to 6 guests and offers ski-in ski-out access to the slopes with quick access to Base Village.
This condominium offers a comfortable king bed in the primary bedroom with a jacuzzi tub, flat-screen television, and mountain-luxe decor. The second bedroom features a queen over king bunk bed. Guests will enjoy the open living space with a gas fireplace, high-end furnishings, and the full gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar seating. The condo features a separate dining area, a private patio, and an outdoor BBQ grill.
**Please note: During Summer 2025 (June - September), Chamonix will be undergoing property upgrades; the property will have visible signs of construction, and guests may experience noise disruptions. The rates have been adjusted to account for this inconvenience.**

Situated next to the Elk Camp gondola and with ski-in/ski-out access, the Chamonix is perfectly located for an idyllic mountain vacation year-round.
*Chamonix has a slope-side ski locker room near all units but does not have lockers at individual units. The ski locker room is adjacent to the pool and hot tub area, and guests can walk across the slope to the midway gondola station or ski down to Base Village.
Guests of the Chamonix have direct access to Assay Hill or can take the complimentary shuttle to Snowmass Village (Base Village or Upper Village) to access other lifts in addition to world-class restaurants, shops, and other events and activities.

Great ski in/ski out
Enjoyed 5 days of skiing in great powder while staying slopeside at Chamonix. The condo was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen for cooking. There is a convenient ski locker room for storing gear and a heated pool and hot tub that our granddaughter enjoyed.The staff were friendly, able to answer all our questions and offered a complimentary shuttle to get around the village.

Nice Place in the Village
The Condo was nice with about a 5-minute walk to the village. Great family location in summer as there were Rodeos, Concerts and more in Snowmass with golfing near and the gondola ride to the top offered mountain biking downhill, ropes, rock climbing, a roller coaster or just walking around or relaxing at the patio. Many biking and hiking options in the area available. We had great bike ride up to Maroon Bells from Aspen. The group managing the property were fantastic. They offered to shuttle us around the village and even picked us up when we wondered too far walking within 5 minutes. They were always available to help and very friendly.

Supremely convenient location for skiers
We--myself and my two 20-something children--visited Snowmass in February 2022 for a week of skiing. The location of the ski-in/ski-out spot was incredibly convenient. This was especially welcome since we ate lunch in our condo everyday rather than dine in the on-mountain restaurants. The complex even has an elevator to take us straight down to the underground garage where our car was parked, and to the ski-lockers and pool/hot-tub.
I have been raving to everyone how convenient this place is for skiers. From where we put on our ski-boots (in a comfortable carpeted locker room) we had to walk maybe 25 feet to reach the slope under the gondola.
The kitchen was very well equipped with pots and pans and cooking utensils. We made extensive use of them since we cooked dinner in our condo every night. We also appreciated the many glass containers with lids for storing leftovers to reheat for lunch the next day.
It was very cold when we visited and the baseboard heating could not quite keep up with the outside temperatures. Fortunately the owner also provided 3 rollaway space heaters to keep the place warm enough.
One thing I will point out is that this complex is not exactly in Snowmass Village and you cannot safely walk to any shopping or restaurants. Although Google Maps says you can walk down to the Base Village in 8 minutes, the reality is that there are NO sidewalks. Fortunately Vacasa management provides free shuttle service to and from anywhere in the village. During the week we visited, the shuttle was always available to drop us off or pick us up.
I have stayed at MANY different Snowmass condominiums over the years during ski season, and this one was definitely the most convenient for skiing. We also enjoyed looking at the many different art pieces the owners have collected and displayed. I would love to stay here again next time we visit Snowmass.

Great Getaway
Our quick trip to your Snowmass condo was wonderful. There was lots of room for the 4 of us. The checkin process was very smooth and Jim at the front desk was extremely helpful. The kitchen had absolutely every appliance we needed. We enjoyed the two decks and our weather was perfect (with the exception of the haze from the forest fires in CO and CA). The leaves were beginning to change colors so we were treated to some beautiful scenery. The artwork and furnishings were appreciated. We would definitely stay there again. We enjoyed our stay at the property over 3 days in early August. The unit is spacious and comfortable and very well appointed. The layout was perfect for our family of 5 and the proximity to the slopes would make this the ideal ski-in ski-out condo. Our only complaint is that the listing should be more forethcoming about the lack of air conditioning. This is one of the older buildings in the area, and, apparently, was built without A/C, focusing more on the winter crowd. Unfortunately, by the time the temperatures dropped enough at night to provide a comfortable sleeping environment, it was already early morning... even with box fans provided by the attentive front desk. Loved the condo... just not the lack of A/C. Would have been a deal-breaker for us. The owners have clearly put some TLC into the place, so, kudos to them. And a shout out to Dewey, who drove us in the free shuttle and helped with the box fans.
