Outstandingly clean! Very well stocked with all you need for an enjoyable stay. Kitchen supplies were top quality! Conveniently located to launch each day's activities. Steps To The Beach

5 stars to Michelle - superb customer service and communication. That makes all the difference when renting. House was great. Super clean, recent renovation with many upgraded items. Will definitely look at this property or others that Michelle has for future vacations.

Relaxing in Snow

Great little get away with the wife and pup. Had a minor issue with pipes had frozen with the unlikely snow we had that week. Owner was very quick in getting plumber out and even ordered gallons of water in case it couldn't get fixed that night. Overalll a great stay except for me the bed was a little hard but wife seemed to like it.except doe me

Lovely, Clean, and Comfy Cottage

This cottage was so sweet! Stylishly decorated, simple yet elegant. Very comfortable and clean and nice and bright! Nothing lacking in amenities. Your own private view of the Sound and just a short walk across the street to the ocean. Peaceful and quiet. It was just perfect for two friends needing their own bed and bath and a lovely kitchen and comfy living area. We loved our time here!

Best VRBO EVER!

FANTASTIC house and location. High end amenities, appliances, furniture, and decor. The layout was perfect for meals and conversations. The kitchen was top of the line with every supply needed for an extended stay. The Dreamcloud mattresses were a game changer and convinced us to replace ours at home.The private dock was perfect for lazy late day afternoons and the walk to the beach was just a few minutes. We used the front and back porch for morning coffee and happy hours and the outdoor shower was always a fan favorite for our dog, Bentley. We highly recommend this place for anyone who loves the overall beach vibe.

Peaceful and Serene

Such a cozy, comfortable, and clean place. Just a short walk to the beach. The boys enjoyed being able to fish right off the dock. The place offers so many cooking options which was perfect for a family to make homemade meals

One of the most enjoyable and peaceful trips I have experienced.

The property and location are beautiful. My family and I frequent the island as we use to live in Wilmington several years back. The location was perfect for me as I enjoy being on the sound for the tranquility and quiet but we were also only a walk across the street to the beach. The host is very organized, sweet, and communicative. The house is fully stocked and so much detail is put into the preparation. I brought a candle and some fresh flowers, and felt right at home.

Kid free getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a kid free vacation. Listing/descriptions were extremely accurate in our opinion. Place was clean and well stocked with numerous supplies, linens, and kitchen equipment/supplies. The dock is peaceful and the beach access is a short walk away. Less than five minutes away. We had a wonderful, relaxing time.

Fantastic First VRBO Stay

What a wonderful and relaxing stay in North Topsail Beach at Steps to the Sound. The house was neat and clean and decorated beautifully. Check in was easy once I found out how to operate a Kwikset lock from the owner who was always easy to reach. The layout of the home was open and the back deck provided spectacular sunsets each night while the front porch was perfect for having my coffee in the morning.I got to bring my 10 lb. Silky Terrier with me and the host even had special items there for her, including a small built in crate. She preferred the one she stays in each night but it was so nice to have that option. Top of the line appliances made fixing my meals easy and after going to the grocery store I could eat in all weekend. Thank you for such a great first time stay with VRBO and an excellent weekend away.

Perfect getaway

This is a beautiful cottage with perfect decor. Comfy in every way. The owner has done a fantastic job to make everything easy to relax and never leave the cottage but to walk down the dock or beach. Cleanliness is great also. Will be back.

Lovely little house

Perfect size house for two and a fur baby. It has a very well stocked kitchen and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the deck over looking the sound. Only improvement I would suggest would be to put a roof over back deck to enjoy space when its hot or raining. Hope to visit again.

Beautiful cottage

This was the most well stocked/appointed home we've ever rented. A chef's dream where everything you need is already there. We loved the private dock right on the sound and the beach was just a short walk right across the street. And Michelle was very quick to respond to any questions. This was the perfect sized home for our family of 3. We will definitely be renting from her again!

Wonderful time at this lovely cottage

Everything about this lovely cottage was as advertised. Great location - just minutes walk to the public beach access. The bedroom was super comfortable and we loved the view of water off the back deck. Everything was just as you would expect to have at your own home. We cooked, relaxed, walked the beach, and had a wonderful time.
