We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. So well stocked, I actually felt a little guilty not using more. The location was perfect, and the host was friendly and responsive. We’d definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

This home was extremely clean and beautifully decorated, bed were amazingly comfortable. Owner went to great length to include everything we could possibly need during our stay. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked for cooking meals. The home has a nice washer & dryer thats included if needed. There was a nice firepit area that had a grill attachment, unfortunately we didn't have time to use as we were in for a festival. This home is wonderful and owner is very responsive. We will be back next year for sure. I highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area you won't be sorry. Thank you Suzanne for a wonderful stay.

The setting is gorgeous. The house is a nice, comfy place to return to after a day of exploring. The beds are very comfortable, the towels abundant, & tv channels endless. The extra touches are nice. The kitchen is stocked w/ enough bakeware to cook really anything. There is so much to do within 30 min...so rich with history. Just make sure you type your destinations in GPS BEFORE you leave the house as service is spotty. The host was quick to respond to messages, but we had everything we needed there so no reason to contact them during our stay. We'd definitely stay here again!

We had such a great time here. It's out of the way, yet convenient to local parks and historical attractions. The accomadations are neat and well-appointed. The hosts were accomadating and responsive to any and all needs. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Love this place! Clean, off the road a little, quiet area. She definitely made a smaller house feel like there’s a bit of room! Comfy king bed in one room (the other room had a queen bed which my son slept on). Nice size comfortable couch for the living room.

Lovely hollow hideaway.

Our stay in your little hollow was very nice. The little house was beautifully decorated and the Lewis’s went far beyond making sure everything we needed was there. We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and they provided so much more than they had to. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was exceptionally. The location was perfect for visiting the attractions we went to. My husband is an avid civil war enthusiast so having them within a 30 minutes drive in either direction was very nice. If we find ourselves traveling in the area again we would love to stay here.

Relaxing, comfortable, and clean stay

The unit was recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 3 - board games, comfortable couch, well stocked kitchen, good internet, old school “pac man” machine, charcoal grill, large grassy area to run around. The resident dogs and host were friendly and helpful. The area is a great for getting out of the city - tasty farm stands and proximity to Cunningham falls state park for swimming. There is spotty cell service in the area, make sure to mark destinations on your phone maps before heading out or while at the house.

Ideal for Country Get Away

We really liked this place! It’s centrally located to all of the different hiking trails and towns we visited. The house is cozy and well appointed-especially for those who want to cook their own meals. The bathroom is very high end with built in washer/dryer (although the height challenged may need a step stool to reach the dryer, but not a problem ;)The bird quantities and variety were nice to observe and listen to while enjoying coffee/wine in the morning/evening. We really felt at home when we were there before and after all of our fun outdoor activities. We highly recommend staying here, as we will when we return to the area for future stays.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in was easy. House is cozy and clean. Loved the patio and we had a fun time with the arcade machine. The only cons are the lack of cell signal and the 9am check-out, but they have great wi-fi so we were fine and the check-out time isn’t a deal breaker for us most of the time. We’d happily stay again!

So cute!

I love the attention to detail. I have a neck injury so one of the days I just slept and rested and it was magical. I appreciate how clean everything was. Me and my mom and daughters take an annual girls trip and this was just what we needed. Watched movies, enjoyed the spa feel of the house and played games. The hosts were SO sweet they had left us a Christmas goody basket. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful

This was the perfect location for a visit to the area. Tucked away just enough without feeling totally isolated. Near a few cute towns for food and dinning, as well as plenty of historical sites. Loved the layout and atmosphere. Felt very comfortable and homey. Especially appreciated all the little touches (snacks, toiletries, extra towels, etc.). Overall wonderful stay.

Mother-Daughters Birthday Weekend

We spent two nights at the home. It was exactly what we needed. The home was immaculate. The beds and linens were luxurious. There was a cute amenities kit in each bedroom - such a nice, extra touch. The home is off of the beaten path so very peaceful. The gas firepit on the covered porch was perfect since we could not use the wood firepit due to drought. The decor was tasteful and restful. The kitchen was well stocked. . We were happy to meet sweet Ellie. She joined us a few times during our stay. Hopefully we will meet Squishy when we stay again...and, we will be back. Property is located in easy driving distance to several wineries, Catoctin State Park and Gettysburg. Since it is located in a pretty rural area - be mindful that there are a lot of deer on the curvy roads. After dark they were on the roads and we had two close encounters. As we were aware we avoided a "close encounter of the worst kind". Loved- Loved-Loved this property!! peaceful.
