It is very convenient for us just few steps away to train station.

This is a good location for the trains and Windsor castle Parking can be an issue. Tesco is walking distance

The hotel was in a location that was extremely inconvenient and was not too safe. There was no parking. Wifi was shoddy at best. The front desk was extremely unprofessional and friends who called my room would have loads of difficulty being connected to my room.

This hotel was a great value. It's new, clean, well-designed, well run, with a great staff. Very comfortable and attractive rooms. Breakfast was more than adequate. All in all a good experience. (Location is a bit difficult to find, and not the most attractive area, but this did not hinder our pleasure with our stay.)

I have to admit, this was different. First, the hotel was a little off the beaten track and when we got there we simply pulled into the parking lot and actually got a parking space (it was noon). The hotel was a nice looking structure that was nestled in between some residential apartment buildings and some high rise aparment buildings that appeared to be partially completed with construction stopped. We immediately entered the hotel and were able to check in and secure our luggage (which was nice). Our room was small, clean but efficient. We visited with family in the afternoon and returned at 7:00 pm to discover that there was not a single parking spot to be had. We ended up parking on the sidewalk about 50 feet outside the gated parking lot along a wooden construction fence. After parking our car on the street, we realized that the immediate area around the hotel was a lot rougher than we had considered. We noticed broken car window glass all around the area where we ended up parking our car and alot of rubbish on the ground. We did make sure we left nothing in the car. As we walked into the entrance of the parking lot, the wooden construction fence continued along the hotel parking lot and so did the rubbish. The entire length of the parking lot was full of rubbish that nobody had bothered to clean up in a very long time. The parking was a problem for 9 of our 12 days at the hotel and it was our fault for not understanding that 142 rooms and 26 parking spaces just does not work. Who would build a hotel with only 26 parking spaces? I will have to say we did lucked out, we didn't have any of our windows broken out, we just got some nice key marks on our new BMW rental car. When we were registering into the hotel, we walked up to the reception desk and were greeted by "What may I help you with". That was our only greeting during our 12 day stay, with one exception. Each day whether we were leaving or departing, the hotel desk staff would just look at you with a blank look and say nothing. One late evening when we were returning, there was a young man (the only male we ever saw working the registration desk) and he greeted us with a "Good Evening and how are you doing today" and was very pleasant. We did have to talk to the daytime reception desk staff a number of times regarding internet and some problems I was experiencing and each time they acted as if we were bothering them. Our room was very clean and I will say the cleaning staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job. The breakfast was average and the dining area was very busy, the staff there was very nice (overworked and understaffed)and they tried very hard to keep everything stocked and to also cleanup after the many people they served. The hotel in right next door to the train station and that is convenient. We traveling to London one day, it was a very pleasant ride and the station staff at the Slough stop were very helpful. We traveled around the UK while staying in Slough, so the hotel was just a resting area, but we did find the Moon and Spoon Pub in Slough to be a great place. We had good food, great beers and a chance to meet interesting and real people. This is an amazingly busy local pub. It puzzels me why staff members are allowed to take parking spaces that hotel guests should have access to. Why aren't they parking outside of the gated lot?

we stayed at another nearby one night and the view was horrid, the room wasn't clean, and parking wasn't included. this was a far superior experience it was small but clean and well laid out
