Decent, clean and functional

Lovely clean hotel with attentive staff. Dated for sure, but everything was functional and working in the rooms. 1 of the lifts was out of order and the working lift had a mind of its own! Restaurant and lobby area was large and clean. Good selection of menus - a bit limited on plant based options but still sufficient. Don’t book too far in advance as the room was half the price on day of arrival.

Disappointing stay despite good breakfast We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal. First, the car park ceiling beam was low and ended up damaging the boot of our car. When we reported this, the staff advised us to contact the police and then make a complaint to the manager, which felt quite unhelpful. Additionally, the car park and pool incur extra charges, but this was only mentioned in an email that arrived a day after our stay—something that should have been made clear upfront. Inside the room, the sofa bed was broken and the mattress stained, which was concerning as it was intended for our toddler. When we asked for clean sheets, we were made to feel as if we had done something wrong and were told we shouldn't be using it. We did eventually receive the sheets, but the overall interaction left us uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the ceiling had spider webs that clearly hadn’t been cleaned, which really added to the impression of poor maintenance. On a positive note, breakfast was excellent, which was the highlight of the stay. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the issues with cleanliness, transparency, maintenance, and customer service. We hope management addresses these problems so future guests have a better experience.

Great Windsor weekend

Loved our stay!! The staff were so friendly, location was excellent. The majestic appearance of the hotel made it so easy to find, only a few minutes from the motorway and close enough to the places were wanyed to visit. Would recommend it to anyone, so clean and comfy.

Although our stay in the hotel was fine but Im complaining about the Car Park fine I received for using Hotel Car park lot. I paid the full amount of #30.00 for the 3 days use (attached receipt of payment). Im therefore asking your reimbursement of the fine of #40.00 I paid already to the authority.

Hotel was okay - there was an extra cost to be able to use the fitness facility which was a surprise when we arrived. Cleanliness was okay - there were fingernails in our bed which was gross. Building is very old and service staff was cordial but not friendly. Food at the restaurant was very good.

Having to pay for parking, £10 per night, on top of hotel price, Spa was extra cost, room was tired, only w flimsy pillows, 1 lift working in morning meaning waited for 10 minutes for empty lift for breakfast. Staff were really friendly though and breakfast was ok.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. My son loved the hotel. Some areas of the bedroom were not clean (stains on the carpet and very dusty by skirting boards), but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.
