Super séjour !

Très bon séjour !! Idéalement situé, l'hôtel vous permet de facilement vous balader le long du vieux port. Cependant, quelque nuisance le soir avec les bars en contre bas, mais rien qui nous empêche de dormir. Équipe très aimable. Je recommande sans hésitation. :)

Room was very good. Noise was absolutely horrible!! So loud with several different music blaring and people yelling and tvs or some kind of noise blaring then the nightclub music toll 3-4am! They should warn you. Thank goodness my mother wasn’t with me. Also no transportation to the hotel so you have to pull your suitcases from the port then up a big flight of stairs. Lobby is not marked as the tree hotel which it should be. But they were very nice and brought our luggage to our room and gave us early check in at noon! I wouldn’t stay there again though because of the noise and no taxi pick up.

Would have been helpful to say in the directions to go across to the other hotel to check in. Room was clean and spacious. Just be aware a nearby restaurant turns into a nightclub at 10 pm. Bring your earplugs! Manager was helpful and let me borrow a plug adapter when I had misplaced mine.

Very nice small hotel with key location.

Very cute hotel located right on the port on the far side just a bit away from all the major hustle & bustle. Like most hotels here, there are no elevators and the stairs can be bit much, though, in summer months if you re staying on the 3rd floor. But in general this is a great spot with helpful staff and lovely interior design.

It was a little difficult to find the hotel at night - clear directions would have been helpful. Check in was in a neighbouring hotel which wasn’t known. However the staff were very helpful and the room was lovely. Would stay again.

Overall, we really enjoyed staying at The Tree for just shy of 14 nights in September 2023, it’s prime location to all that the Skiathos Town has to offer is both good and not so good. The good is that The Tree was easy to book online via Expedia, upon arrival we were warmly greeted and quickly shown to the Penthouse apartment. Dimitri and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. The Penthouse apartment was bright, modern, clean and generally well equipped. Outside there is a spacious seating area with great views over The Old Port and The Bourtzi. A great place to chill out at the end of a long day at the beach and after dinner drinks till late. The not so good aspect is the noise from the nearby port bars until late. Don’t know why the local bars feel the need to or are even allowed to bang out loud music at levels better suited to a concert stadium until the early hours? Fortunately, The Tree’s rooms are fitted with double glazing to help with a more peaceful sleep. All things considered we’d be more than happy to stay again.

Small beds

2 star rating is due to bedding configuration. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment with 1 double bed and 1 double sofa. Sofa was super small, barely twin when fully extended. We had two 12 year olds (not) sleeping in it. The hotel tried to find an alternate, but without success, thus forcing us to suffer whole night. Other than that, the apartment was nice, well equipped and beautifully decorated. It is a bit loud due to the music from nearby club playing very loudly. Overall, if you have 2 people and do not mind some noise, this is a nice place. Do not book for a family.

Tout plein de charme

Excellent accueil et hôtel très bien tenu et situé à l'extrémité du vieux port de Skiathos. La chambre est parfaite, et quel bonheur de pouvoir bénéficier de la terrasse de notre chambre avec une très belle vue sur la mer. Nous avons passé un très bon moment à cet hôtel très apaisant et où l'on se sent bien dès l'arrivée.
