We stayed in this hotel in May 2017 and below is an account of what we liked and not like: What we like: - The room is spacious and comfortable and comes with a comfortable lounge area - The room is also very clean - The view is not bad if you like sea view but still prefer the views from South Beach and MBS - The hotel's high tea is a must - love the lobster! What we did not like: - If you stay here over the weekend, this part of town is really quiet with not much to do because it is within the CBD but you can get some good local delights from Lau Pa Sat - Pool was cold and unfortunately not much of a view

The rooms are a bit austere but very large. I like the design whereby most of the clothes storage is in the vestibule, keeping the rest of it tidy. The bathroom, with a free-standing bath in the floor to ceiling window was wonderful. The infinity pool on the 35th floor was nice and quiet but since surrounded by buildings that are higher, there isn't much of a view. On the face of it the hotel is in a bit of a non-area but actually you can walk to the bay and china town. It is well connected for the MRT

Did a staycation there and was given a room upgrade and access to the executive lounge due to my SPG Platinum Status. The hotel is new and I found the service excellent - checking in through the entire stay. The room was clean, well maintained and well laid out. The toilet was functional, yet had a luxurious touch. I found the executive lounge well run with attentive staff and good food (both afternoon tea and evening canapés). Will definitely return.

Booked a last min 2 days 1 night stay for hubby's Bday celebration, the room was nice and spacious with comfy bed, hotel was nice to give a complimentary slice of cake for the Bday celebration. However, during the night in wee hours of 2am, a guest was talking loudly on the phone at the corridor and I had to call the counter to ask them to investigate... 10 mins on the guest was still talking loudly with no hotel staff in sight, no choice my hubby have to go out and confront the guest. We asked for late check out due to the disturb sleep but well was 'rejected' based on full booking, so much for the 'guarantee' late check out for weekend staycation... guess it is not so 'guarantee' after all... minus that still a nice hotel I guess?

A very courteous and helpful welcome from the concierge and reception staff, efficient and friendly. Our room on the 39th floor overlooked the harbour and interesting docks area, and was very well-equipped and comfortable. There's a really useful free mobile phone provided for your stay, which allows you to make calls locally and internationally, and surf the net, a fantastic idea for when you're out and about. We buy a local sim when we are staying abroad for any length of time, but as we were here for only two days, en route to New Zealand, this really made life easy. Breakfast was very good and available up until 10:30, which is handy if you're catching up on sleep from a long haul flight. It was also very helpful that, even though we'd checked out, that we were able to use the spa at the end of the day to freshen up ready for our flight to NZ. All in all, an excellent hotel.

Revisited this great property and enjoyed my short weekend getaway thoroughly. The room was really very comfortable and the signature “Heavenly Bed” really lives up to its name as always. A restful night could always be guaranteed! Special mention goes out to the friendly staff, Patrick Chan and Tiffany, at the Club Lounge. They were really amazing with their service renderings as they remembered guests’ preferences and addressed guests by their names. Also, they were always seen proactively attending to guests and anticipating their needs. Their attempts to get to know guests better through casual chats certainly made guests felt very at home. In addition, both of them never failed to check on the well-being of each guest at the lounge. Definitely gems to the organisation and their excellent service attitude really made my stay experience with the Westin Singapore an exceptional one. Kudos to the F&B team for listening to customers and gathering feedback on service offerings at the lounge. It really shows that the hotel management is empathetic and sensitive to customers’ needs. I’m really looking forward to the revamped F&B offerings when I visit next. Thank you Westin Singapore for yet another wonderful stay! :D

Always have staycation at this hotel, the heavenly bed gave me a very good sleep. The club lounge offer afternoon hi-tea and great evening cocktail for Platinum members , club room and suites room guests. The lounge staff Patrick Chan is super attentive and professional, he make sure every guests are well taken care from the hi-tea and evening cocktail hour. The hotel also offer champagne breakfast at the club lounge, Tiffany is also very attentive and great all the guests in the lounge, impressive with her positive energy in the morning. Overall I'm happy with the hotel stay with Westin Singapore.

Every week, for over six months, we have been lunching at Seasonal Tastes. People asked us what was so great about the food that we continue to eat that every week. Truth be told, food is fairly standard fare, with little change week to week. So what is the glue. Its the staff. Most of them recognise us as regulars and will come and greet and chat with us. We want to highlight some of the staff, Asst Managers Suresh and Nui, whoever is on duty, never fail to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Soonam, a cheerful customer service staff, will ensure we get our regular table and that all is in order. Even the part-time help will engage us. Each time we visit the restaurant, its like having our meals at home. We often talked about trying a new place but resisted it because of our lovely experience.

I have had a very bad experience at The Westin Singapore, as I accompanied my husband on his business trips and stay at this property off and on plus we have breakfast every morning at the executive club floor which is the most cosy and convenient place if not we will seat at Seasonal Taste once n 3 to 4 days depends on the Days in the week. The food was not at a good quality as hashbrowns were soagy, bacon was too dry and some was grilled and some was not thus there is not even roasted items for carving. As for the juices, not all juices was fresh and was limited to choose from, there isn’t fresh carrot juice which what you can find at Seasonal Taste for breakfast which was divine. Moreover, there isn’t much varieties of fruits to choose from not just in the morning but there was noting much in the afternoons and evenings. I even had no chance to have a word with the manager in charge on the shifts and notice that he is never around attending to any guests. Myself and my husband have been observing that you could never see the manager who is in charge of the lounge on Saturdays and Sundays, for sometime while we live at this hotel. What an experience..

This was one of the newer properties in Singapore and it showed. The rooms, facilities were all fantastic including one of the best buffet lunches I have ever had! One must go try the curry laksa, Hainan chicken and their hokkien mee, I must have had thirds and completely stuffed myself for lunch. The swimming pool was great for an infinity pool, though I have to admit my favourite pool in the world is still at the near by Infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands. However, the hotel all around was better in my mind for roughly the same price. It also helps that there is a nearby Law Pa Sat hawker food center which is incredibly useful when one arrives to the hotel at midnight and starving! The location is also perfect if you are going to spend time in the CBD area, pretty much walking distance to the Marina Bay area as well as all the major financial centers.
