the hotel is very conveniently located, near Park Universal Studios, the Sentosa express stop, restaurants, cafes, shops.

Upon check-in, I was given an envelope which was supposed to be a welcome package. The envelope was empty! I was also suppose to receive the coupons included in the room. I had to ask for it. When I called their attention about the empty envelope, the personnel at the front desk simply took the envelope.As it turns out, I was suppose to receive coupons for the Sentosa Express. I had to pay for two trips for three of us. I learned from the staff at the monorail that the hotel was normally gives the coupons for the trip back to Sentosa. When I asked the front desk about it, they asked me to produce the receipts for me to get a refund. The personnel at the front desk was not very helpful, to the extent that it was my fault for not asking for the tickets and for not asking for the receipts of the ticket I bought! How was I suppose to know? The hotel staff at the front desk should brief the customer on the amenities and/or privileges as guest of the hotel upon check-in.

We selected this hotel based on our love for Michael Graves style. That aspect was fulfilled beyond expectation. This is a superbly beautiful facility. We loved being in this hotel. The experience of the check-in process was completely the opposite. When we arrived, around 4:30, well after the check-in time, we were offered a room in another hotel. When we declined, we were told that there were no rooms available at the Hotel Michael. When we insisted that this is where we wanted to stay, we were told that they could make a room available in two to three hours. So we resigned ourselves to waiting. After about thirty minutes, I requested to see the manager and was told that s/he was not available. At that time, I was told that there would be a room available in 10-15 minutes. Once we were in the room, we were thoroughly pleased with all of the details and design. It is a bit loud in the courtyard at night until everything closes down - and the experience of the room eventually was more important to us

My wife and i were given a free room upgrade to a suite for our wedding anniversary and we were very grateful and delighted for the special accommodation. The special request for a bouquet of rose was well arranged and looks fantastic. We hope to their service will remain excellent when we visit again.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. There is so much to do within walking distance for the whole family. You will not regret staying here.

Room has everything you need, but the furniture and interior ill. many sharp corners and no extra mattress for a child like in hard rock. the first day of our youngest child (2 years) dropped by cabinet in the closet because just opened all the drawers.

Fantastic hotel for Sentosa attractions and Universal studios. My daughter likes swimming pool. But room service and room make up were very poor. Breakfast was very expensive. Hotel located just 100 meters from Sentosa express (mono rail), which connects to VivoCity mall. Quite big shopping mall with everything includes cinema.

we stayed at this hotel after our star cruise voyage and it was just a short walking distance / tram ride to sentosa. you will also find that vivocity mall has everything you will need for shopping and not needing to go to orchard or marina side. wifi is not readily available and has charges. while most hotels already have complimentary wifi, this hotel charges SGD5 for an hour!

Very big spacious room. But tv channel should improved. Common Channel like Fox movies and hbo not also don't have

beautiful facility - lacking in service
