This hotel suffers from poor communication. And although that could be acceptable in a sgd300-500/ night hotel; it’s clearly not acceptable in a Sgd 1000-1500/night hotel. 1) I couldn’t find the hotel because nothing in the hotel says “Beach Villa” and when I called the concierge to say I was in the middle of the car park looking for the hotel, they were more concerned with getting my name and and phone number than helping me. It’s recognizing the situation 2) so frazzled about the parking, carrying all the luggage, standing in queue at reception and I needed to talk to someone to help me with my issues as I was registering in. At the reception, the lady was doing her job, professionals and not polite but not minding my pain. Car park belongs to another department not hers. Professional but not comforting. Only afterwards while I was still holding my luggage and she wanted to finish checking her in (which was not my pain point) would she help me with my parking 20-30 min of me standing in the check in counter. 3) couldn’t find anything written about the instruction eg which is restaurant for breakfast / how to get anywhere / what facilities there are in the hotel - so feeling totally lost 4) called the hot line for a place for dinner and again the lady was clueless. I asked for any Restaurant that could fit me and take my children for that night and she said I couldn’t do that I had to tell the name of the restaurant and then she would end up transferring me to each and every restaurant. The restaurant then says they cannot help me and I have to call the hotline again. If she needed to do the detective work she could easily have said she would call me back especially since she had her number. She didn’t even know how to get from the hotel room to the restaurant without checking with someone and I had to call up concierge to advise her !!! All of this after I had already told her that I was sitting in the hotel room just wanting to find somewhere to go. Surely any other hotel has a list of their own restaurants and how to get to each location. 5) later on the Concierge service told me actually I was suppose to call them instead of this call service but there was no sign inside the room to tell me. Also it happened twice; once at night and once during the day that no one picks up even though I leave it on repeated dial. So they are a bit understaffed (6) they gave me cards and I had no idea what they were for and only check out did I realize it was for the sentosa monorail train. If only I had known earlier (7) for the balcony section would be helpful is the roof was covered. It’s bad luck if it’s raining but if the roof was covered at least there is somewhere to put the swim suits or sit and enjoy the rain. There are also good points (1) concierge man who came (Chris) was always so helpful and comforting. It was great! Then he would send us door to door and make sure we were looked after. Amazing. If we only had to deal with him during this trip our experience would have been so different (2) The room was a very good size so it fit one adult and 4 kids. And everyone was very happy with the room and comfortable. (3) very relaxing to open the door and jump into the pool.
I stayed for two nights with my wife and son. Stayed in Villa facing the pool. The check-in process is not very seamless. The check-in person seems very distracted and rushed. We were a bit early but was told the check in time was 3:00pm and was told that the room was not ready. When we walked around, we did not see any staff cleaning up any of the villas. Later on a staff told us the villa is ready but need to 'check' that all is well before looking for a staff to bring us to the villa. In the end we walked to the villa ourselves..... (very near the lobby). The villa is very nice but the pool is smaller than I thought. There is not much privacy as the other Hotel guests can use the pool. However, we as a family have a great time. We stayed in villa 815 which is sunny but not very private as it was facing a pedestrian bridge and many guest will walk pass our villa all the time. There is a buggy service which will bring us to points in RWS. Lots of dining options available in RWS and we did not eat at the hotel at all. The villa is quite nice which sort of justify the price point (expensive). However, I am not likely to go back again as I don't think there is good value for the price that I pay.
Dear Sirs, As soon as I entered the Lobby , I had been met by a female staff (later I knew her name Frances Soo ) with a welcomed smile then she offered me a welcome drink and she started processing the booking formalities . Although I have failed to check in she tried everything and very patiently to help me to solve the problem. Miss Soo escorted me to the assigned room where I would have stayed and explained in detail to me the function of each gadget in the room. Then whenI left and she told us not to hesitate if I need any thing . As a conclusion , I reached a result that the attitude , cooperation and helpfulness of this lady is a sign of professionalism ,skilfulness ,proficiency and a great loyalty to her job which makes me decide to put Resort World Sentos - Beach Villas as my first choice in my future trips to Singapore . Therefore ,I will be most grateful if you convey my utmost appreciations and my sincere thanks to Miss Frances Soo for her kindness , helpfulness and cooperation.
What a place ! One of the best villas I have had the pleasure to stay in. The one bedroom is large and some with high ceilings. Your on jacuzzi with direct access to the pool. Breakfast served at the hotel in the same complex had a wide selection to choose from. Shuttle bus runs all day up and down the resort as well as access to a buggy. The staff are excellent and if you are lucky to have Andrew as your butler you will have great service. Wonderful place !
We booked the Equarius hotel and they upgraded us to the beach villas. The one bedroom villa is stunning. As soon as you walk through the door you feel like you are in luxury. From the soft tiles on the floor to the huge bathroom area everything screams quality. Each villa has its own jacuzzi, which is next to the main pool. The bathroom area is as big as the bedroom and you can watch TV whilst in the bath. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. The staff were so helpful too, nothing was too much. I wish every hotel had this level of service. And one other thing to note is the smell of the hotel is wonderful, they use their own fragrance which I think they should sell but sadly currently don't. If you plan to go into Adventure Cove Waterpark then you should definitely book this hotel as it is right next door and they have a easy way for you to get into the park. I would love to go back and stay at this hotel.
It's a family trip. This is the third time we stay in beach villa. We both love this hotel. We like to stay at the villa and also the undersea room. This time we tried both. The villa have the big swimming pool that only for villa residents. It is wonderful. The undersea room is so lovely that all kids and adult would love to sit for some hours. The service is outstanding and the golf car service for residents are really comfortable for us. We recommend the butler Calvin Lee. He is really nice guy and helpful. Last time, we came here around 15months ago and he still remember our name and where we from. We had a wonderful holiday here.
I have booked a 3D2N stay with my family from 18th June - 20th June. The wonderful experience started the moment I checked in the hotel. Kelly, the reservation officer and her manager on duty welcomed me and my family with a warm, sincere smile. Seeing myself busy checking in, the manager on duty took the initiative to preoccupy my 3 kids by giving them each a lovely goody bags which makes them so delighted. Upon checking in, we are offered a buggy ride to our villa. Bill, the friendly and helpful buggy driver has made our stay so splendid and convenient. We have been so pampered to be "chauffeured" to and fro the villa and RWS - adventure cove water park, USS anytime at our convenience. My kids love the buggy ride so much. I would also like to thank the friendly and helpful Jacqueline, the housekeeping manager whom herself and her housekeeping team made our stay so neat and clean, ensuring our needs are met and our stay are comfortable. Beach Villa has set a very consistent standard in their service level, service from the heart. This is definitely a hotel I will revisit again.
Stayed in one bedroom beach villa for belated birthday celebration. The service in this property is as superb as the room, interior, facilities. People to single out is difficult as they were all great, but Mrs Jesslyn from Concierge ,Jasper and Bill and their butler team and Ms Jackie from house keeping are truly huge assets to this property. The tranqulity and cosyiness of the villa and its amazing pool make this place a true vacation spot away from the city buzz. Go and check it out.
Spent an awesome weekend with my family at the Beach Villas. Definitely one of my best hotel stays in Singapore. We were welcomed by the staff at the lobby.. I have to say that I really love the scent of the lobby, it is so calming. We had our lunch at the fine dining restaurant located in the lobby. Food was good and we enjoyed it very much. A staff brought all us to our BV by a buggy even though it was very much walkable distance since we stayed in 820 which was very near to the lobby, gym and Espa, thankfully. He showed us around our BV quickly and soon at 5pm the turnover services came as well. The room was air conditioned with a high ceiling fan. The shower had a really high rain shower. Big bathtub by the TV. Simply love how spacious the room was! Our private jacuzzi was just steps away from our balcony!! The main pool was also linked to it. Spent the weekend literally soaking in jacuzzi and enjoying the pool. It's generally a quiet and peaceful villa. Waking up to the gentle sound of the forest crickets was my favourite. Loving how the nature felt so close to me. Complimentary shuttle bus services was available to bring us around the resort. We were entitled to use the facilities in Espa including the gym companied with any of the treatments there. For those who gym, the gym was clean and well equipped. The service in the spa was excellent!! Best spa in Singapore, so close to the nature with great views! Way BETTER than GSpa!! Spent half my day enjoying the spa facilities there! Cold Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, different types of showers. Well I hate mozzies. I am so so so so glad that I did not have any mosquito bites! (haha, the room provided insect repellents for body and the room!) Overall, it was a fantastic stay! We love it! Will be back!!
My partner and I have had the privilege of staying in some of the great luxury hotels of the world, including some of Singapore's finest hotels. The ocean suites of the Beach Villas hotel were easily the best we've experienced in not only Singapore but all of Asia, and among the best in the world. While the view of the world's largest oceanarium from your king sized bed in your lavishly appointed room is lovely, what makes this experience worth every penny is the exquisite service. Our personal butlers, Bill and Chris, catered to our every wish with the most attentive, thoughtful, and in every sense exceptional service we could wish for. From personalised treats in our room to a buggy service on call to arranging theme park tickets, we were left wanting for nothing, except for more days to spend at Ocean Suites. The price point is worth every single penny, though it's impossible to put a price on watching Manta rays from your bathtub, while your own personal butlers are hard at work making your experience one in a life time. Extra special thanks again to Bill and Chris!!! 'Above and beyond' doesn't do them justice! I wish I could remember the names of all the courteous bellmen, waiters, and reception staff as well, everyone was outstanding!
