it is great to be there with the facilities and the support of the crew in the hotel. the break first and the kind attention of the hotel crew was awesome. also it is non-smoking hotel where most of people are looking for. thank you for that
restaurant staff were horrible, rude and angry.receptionists were unhelpful.the worst you can immagine.i won’t suggest any one even my enemy! don’t waist your mony.i dont know why everyone was so rude,
I think they are thinking of closing the hotel. Rooms, reception, breakfast, hospitality etc on all fronts it was disappointment. Not felt like i am in Singapore which is a tourist place. Its high time they should improve
Quality Hotel Marlow is a bit on the down-n-out side of life. The rooms a bit worn and weary. Breakfast buffet, not good. Gym is bare minimum with no air conditioner. Wifi kept cutting out. The beds and sheets were clean but matress was saggy and dipped in the middle. Only good thing was the staff were nice, especially the front desk staff. Watch out for the zoo in the morning and evening from throngs of the mainland Chinese tourists elbowing their way past me to and fro the bus to hotel. Not fun. All in all, it needs some serious work to match the name of Quality." Spend a few more dollars per night and you'll be happier you stayed at a better quality hotel than Marlow.
This hotel is noisy, worn out, and packed. I stayed 3 nights for a work meeting here. The food was distinctly average, the rooms and conference areas had worn out carpets and needed a coat of paint. The view out my window was a concrete wall about 2 metres away (see photo). I had room 1125, which backs right into the elevators, and they are noisy. I assume every room ending in 25 has the same. It’s not large and there is no place to store your suitcase. The sheets on my bed had rips and tears although the bed itself and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom needed caulking. For my reservation, breakfast was included. Breakfast opens at 7 and as a mad crush of tourists crowd around the buffet for an unimaginative mix of European and Asian food. The coffee would serve well as industrial solvent though it has a mildly fortifying effect if consumed. There are exactly two cereal choices: stale corn flakes and what I really hope were cocoa puffs. Fruit was bland melon and for the lucky occasionally some pineapple. Pastries had the consistency of damp cardboard and a similar taste. The sole bread option is very square and white. The Asian options were little better, and both chopsticks and cutlery appear to be in short supply. The cool drink options include icey water and icey orange-flavoured water. The “fitness centre” is a small non-air-conditioned room with one treadmill and one weight bench. Once you start working out it becomes a sauna. But in case it’s not hot enough there are also two small sauna rooms for men or women. The pool was used by pigeons but no people were observed using it. The pool seems like it might fit 6 or 8 people uncomfortably. There is not much nearby in terms of shops. The restaurants nearby are mostly plastic chair type places. Novena Mall is a steamy 15 minute walk away. If it is raining you will get soaked although the Hotel does offer large umbrellas if you put down a deposit of SGD$20. The staff were friendly although a bit harried. I am grateful that durian is not allowed on the premises. I don’t know if better value can be found in Singapore because all hotels here are very expensive, but I would be willing to try many other places to find out.
I booked this hotel online and was given the option for a smoking room. When I arrived, I was informed that the entire hotel is smoke-free. The staff was actually very friendly when dealing with my complaint and the hotel is quite good overall. WiFi isn't the best but it gets the job done.
As they said the location was pretty bad from Novena Station. But thanks to it, We could find some of local shops around there. Breakfast was not to Japanese and Indian taste I think (In fact I’ve talked with a group of Indian about it). If you don’t want to waste money on a hotel, let’s check it in!
I visited Singapore with my family and checked into the Quality Hotel Marlow and we found that the rooms were very comfortable with the most comfortable beds I ever slept in and with all the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay, the staff are very cooperative and cater to ur needs promptly whenever u need them.. the food is also quite good with lots of varieties being offered.. so I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in quality hotel marlow last month. Old building but so clean. The location is not near to tourist attractions but this problem will be solved by using UBER and GRAB to go anywhere. We had 2 rooms next to each other and we surprised when found an intermediate door that connected our rooms. Unfortunately my mother's lancome lotion was missing in the last day, we don't know what happened to it for sure and didn't notice that until coming back to our home.
Positive :::At first I was like wow! It was amazing comparing to our hotel in Kulalalmpur. The swimming pool n gym are small but nice. The hotel is really well located. 15min walk to Mrt station (farrer park) and also a bus station is just nearby. Rooms are clean . hotel is quiet. Beds are comfortable, staffs were nice + live show in the restaurant in lobby every night negative:::Breakfast was Good but they didn't fill the empty dishes! Like There weren't any croissant left whenever I went for breakfast at 8:30 am. The internet is not that good in the rooms. But the thing that disappointed me was by the time that me and my mother came at midnight and saw our room's door open! We left the hotel at noon and sounds like they forgot to close the door of our room after cleaning it! So it was open for almost 12hours! And there was a newcard in the keybox of room which shows there was definitely someone in our room when we were out! Fortunately nothing got lost but still it doesn't feel good at all when we saw the door of ur room has been opened for 12hours!!!
