The hotel is somewhat like a boutique hotel -quaint and small. The reception is just opposite the lift lobby & would need card access to even go to the lift lobby, making it a safe space for solo female travellers. Room is beautifully decorated with a zen like feel. Clever use of space makes the area much bigger. TV screen is gigantic, with amenities like hotel slippers, toothbrush, comb, shower camp, shampoo & body wash, mini fridge, hair dryer & like the touch screen LED mirror Con is the semi-translucent toilet doors which may be slightly akward if not couples staying. ..and lack of a tea spoon. Otherwise, had a very pleasant stay at this hotel

amazing JI HOTEL

we had an amazing stay. the ckeck-in was quick, janet at the reception was very helpful. the location was perfect. close to Singapura Mall, train/subway,bus stops was very near. Lots of restaurants in the area. check-out was just amazing the Manager assisted us in getting a ride. rooms was just the right size for us. bed was comfortable,pillows were great. bathroom was nice. complimentary water was given everyday

Foul smell from bathroom. Kept putting trash bin over vent on floor. But didnt seem to help. Community iron and iron board. Liked how a steamer was available. Needed to get coin from front deak for laundry... Wish it would accepted card. And they way i could have added time to the dryer without a whole other hour

We stayed at the property for 6 days in August, and it was a great experience. The rooms are a little small, but extremely clean and functional. The hotel is also located in a very central location with a lot of options for food, shopping and transportation. Overall, a great experience, and we cannot wait to come back here again.

Second time and not dissapointed

It was our second time staying at Ji Hotel Singapore. I love this place due to its convenient location, proximity to shopping district and main attractions and at the same time it is far enough from being constantly surrounded by tourists. The staff at the hotel was helpful but not intrusive, we were able to store our luggage before checking in and after checking out. The room was spotless clean and bed exceptionally good. As a bonus, a bar downstairs. Will definitely stay at Ji Hotel during our next visit.

Good value for solo and short stay

Great location to shops and multiple MRT. The smallest room is fine for 1 pax for 1 night, maybe 2 as its very functionally laid out so everything you need for a basic stay. Not suitable for many hours of laptop work as no ergonomic chair or work desk. Couch and table fine for short periods or eating.

Mange your expectations

Not all staff can speak English. Be sure to have your towels or toilet paper we'll stocked. Housekeeping response to additional toilet paper will take awhile. Day 1 will have 2 rolls, but subsequent days only 1 roll is provided when they clean your room. Toilets also do not have bidet. Requests for late checkout will be difficult due to demand

The location of the hotel, which included tons of buses and the MRT nearby, was excellent. It was a very clean, small-looking room that was comfortable. The strange thing was the bathroom was entirely see-through, and there was no door/separate room for the bathroom and bedroom. Meaning that you could just turn the corner and see someone on the toilet or shower. The biggest letdown was probably the TV. The size was amazing. However, TV has limited channels and restrictions. No Netflix or anything similar. Just a couple of TV channels. The chrome cast did not work. Apparently, if you have a Samsung phone, you can link it to the TV and use Netflix that way.

Everything was perfect. I have not 1 bad thing I can say. All staff were amazing. Walking through the Lobby i would be greeted everytime with a happy friendly hello. Even the cleaning and maintenance staff would say hello in passing. Will stay here again on my next trip.

Depressing

We were shocked when we arrived, the hotel looks nothing like the photos. We paid an extra night (night 1) so that we could book in when our flight arrived at 6am. They didnt seem to get the message until a day later. The rooms are TINY! The bed is up against the wall & there is no coffee or tea in the room. We had to ask for toilet paper. They take a $100 bond - but we couldnt work out what for. This hotel advertises a restaurant from 6am - they DO NOT serve breakfast. They decided to 'update'the TV channels & 24 hours later there was still no signal - I know you dont go to Singapore to sit in the hotel - but come on! If you're paying for it. We were in room 203 at the end of the hall - all night smokers opening and closing the stairwell door so they can smoke - the smell filtered in our room. Cleaning was average at best. The only thing going for this hotel is the location - however, for the price they charge per night you will find better hotels in the area. We booked based on these reviews & did not speak to one person at the hotel that actually liked it - makes me question the authenticity of some reviews. A final viewing of the room is required to get your bond back.. not sure what for, its not like they supply a mini bar.. Our stay here impacted our holiday, we found it so depressing.
