Spring skiing trip

We booked our trip on very short notice and the property owner/manager was amazing - very fast responses and very helpful. The location was great - close enough to the hill and the village for an easy walk. There’s also a shuttle bus that runs approx every 30 to 40 min to save the walk. Plenty of room, great setup for drying gear and everything we needed to cook a couple dinners.

Well Stocked and Comfortable

Sophie's Run suited our needs perfectly. Our senior parents stayed with my husband and I and our three adult sons. There was plenty of room, beds all very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Ski in and out, hot tub all great! Plenty of parking, easy to get into and out of unit.

Last minute gem

We booked this last minute on our trip and were very impressed. The manager got back to our questions very quickly and the property is very well maintained and equiped. The location is truely ski in from the Silver Queen Chair and ski out via the Silver Woods Chair and a quick 15min walk into the village. The spa is also regularly serviced.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location for ski access. Clean house, love the large kitchen and adjacent ski gear/dressing room. The hot tub was clean and a perfect temp after a great day of skiing.

The property was great. The place was well stocked with kitchen supplies, and utensils. The beds were nice and comfortable, and the heated floors in the washrooms were a bonus. Great, hot tub and easy ski and ski out..

Valentines Getaway to Sophie’s Run

Fantastic location for ski in ski out. Very well appointed kitchen and great accommodation. Lindsay was superb to deal with and attentive immediately. Highly recommended and would return in a heart beat.

Great family ski accommodations

This was the perfect place for our two families of four. The kids loved the bunkbed room and there was loads of space to hang out. The back for staging area was perfect for 8 people getting ready to go skiing. Ski-in/out access was easy. We had a great stay!

Overall the stay was ok. Online listing was not accurate. Thought we were getting whole house. Only after booking found out not. TV in 2nd bedroom did not work. Bedding in master bedroom was musty. Kitchen was best part - large, nice layout, well stocked with extras. Hot tub was nice. Good communication with questions and concerns. Thanks

Perfect Base for Family Ski Vacation

Southern Cross is extremely well appointed and is a great location for the whole family, easily accessible to ski runs, tube park and skating rink. It’s large, very clean and as shown in the pictures. Perfect for large families with kids of all ages. We’ll definitely return.
