    Solid choice

    As advertised. Would definitely stay here again. It isn’t fancy but it’s clean and comfortable. Walls are thin so you’ll hear the neighbors, but people were respectful and mostly quiet (just kid noises). Very short path to beach, no shoes necessary. Good layout, nice deck to sit on, well outfitted kitchen, good sized common area, clean and free laundry. Nice beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Very responsive mgmt—asked for new ice trays and voila! Hope to have a chance to return soon!

    Quiet place close to beach!

    The unit was very well kept. We all fit in just right and my son had fun in the bunk beds. It was a quick and easy walk to the beach, nestled in a quiet corner. The extra amenities on site were wonderful (outdoor shower/hang out area).

    Great location

    Overall this was a great location and a decent stay. The living room furniture is NOT what you see in pictures. I suggest updating those pictures. We were disappointed when we walked into see the furniture. Couch was stained. (Probably from renters being all sunscreen covered and not Showering before sitting on furniture). Property was clean! A/C worked great in all the house but the back bedroom . That was strange. The back bunk bedroom door definitely needs to be left open. The A/C there isn’t great and it gets hot but they do have an oscillating fan in there. I overall, a great rental and location at a good value.

    Great location

    The property was very close to the public beach entrance 13. Very convenient. Cute gathering area outside in couryard. For the price, the unit was not clean to our standards...dead roaches, stained couch, old furniture. And the layout of the unit was not the same in the photos. They should be updated. The kitchen was not well equipped if you cook. Dan was great to deal with and very apologetic about the roach situation but we will not be coming back to this property.

    This was the absolute BEST vacation!

    This property is amazing. We stayed at Old Man and the Sea right at the end of Point of the Rocks Road. It really is as described! You walk down a sand path right to the beach. We actually used to visit in Sarasota but didn't spend much time at the beach because you had to drive there and park and find a spot and then drive home afterwards. This vacation was spectacular because we just walked to the beach whenever we wanted! We will definitely be back. Dan, the owner was great too! Always there to answer questions about where to get the best seafood! I would highly recommend this as a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and beach!

    This place had all the necessities for the beach getaway we wanted. Short walk to the beach and convenient to eating places. Really enjoyed Jakes Ice Cream!

    Great little getaway!

    This place is the place to go and relax. Knowing we didn't have to travel with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels etc. was the best. They provide everything! My only recommendation would to be have better cooking pans. And maybe containers to store food while you are there. Other than that the property is excellent. I loved the hammocks.

    Excellent rental in Siesta Key

    This was a perfect rental for my crew! The inside of the unit was clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper were provided, and the AC worked wonderfully. Outside the unit (the shared spaces for the rental building) was like our own little paradise! It was always clean, shaded and plenty of room to relax. Everyone was extremely friendly, too. The outside shower was wonderful and it was amazing to have on-site washer and dryer! The beach was a dream! Clear, turquoise water. The water was so calm and refreshing. The rental also has any and all beach necessities/toys you could need!

    Pleasantly Surprised

    Cottage style villas with a tiki jungle yard, across from a mansion, with two minute walk to fantastic Cresent Beach. Can also drive south to Turtle Bay, and rent a kayak to explore some mango inlets on the way to Old Middlepass Beach. Great for first timers :)

    Weekend in Siesta Key

    The location is very nice - just steps away from the beach. The condo is adequately stocked with everything you could need. We are a family of six and found it a bit tight but it worked for a short vacation. The living room furniture was different than pictured. The floors were not very clean. After showering within minutes our bare feet were black with dirt.

    Best Experience Hands Down

    Absolutely fanominial stay at Gertrude Rental. The host was extremely accommodating and took very good care of us. Located steps from the beach access was great with a young family. Great grilling area to cook your own burgers. Best vacation we've been on.

    True Gem by the Beach

    We found this place accidentally and are so glad that we did!! A true gem. You are literally 2 minutes walking to the beach (only about 2 ft from the beach path) and the inn is so charming and comes equipped with a full kitchen, some amenities like bar soap, dishes, coffee filters, bath towels and beach towels. There are free beach chairs and umbrellas downstairs for you to use + sand toys, and even a couple paddle boards! Loved the location, walking distance to some restaurants, a quiet beach town neighborhood with friendly neighbors and the free trolly that goes into downtown siesta key. Will definitely be coming back! Might rent the whole place out next time and do a big trip with friends and family!

    Great Reprieve From The Cold, Snowy North!

    Great space! Short sand path walk to the beach! Big living area and kitchen! Beds and pillows not very comfortable. Kitchen not very well supplied with mixing and storage bowls (probably don't need 6 colanders) Great communication with host! Easy walk to restaurants and shops! Enjoyed the Siesta Key and Sarasota areas!

    Sweet property in Siesta Key

    Really enjoyed our short stay in this little slice of heaven. This property offered everything we needed….it was clean, comfortable, lots of space, both indoors and outdoors. It was only steps away from a beautiful beach and conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Dan the owner was very friendly and quick to respond. Loved staying here!

    Colorful & Relaxing

    Off the beaten path, but located just across a sandy street to the beach. Affordable, spacious, and without a vehicle, we were able to hop on the free public transportation trolley into the Village each day.

    This was a perfect location! We could get to the beach, restaurants/bars, or trolley in a few short steps. Place was clean comfortable and plenty of beach chairs/toys. We will be back!

    Perfect Location!

    We had an amazing time in Siesta Key! The property was as described and in a great location! Just steps from the beach and with everything we needed, down to beach chairs and umbrellas! The welcome basket was such a nice touch and Daniel was super responsive. We will definitely be back to Siesta Key and to this rental!
