Great hotel and staff.

It was a little dated. The convention hall room used for the Marine Corps ball needs updating for the cost of the rooms paid.

Great

Between hosting a large wedding and loads of festival goers from just down the road, this Hilton was practically bursting at the seams by the time we got the last room (sixth floor, just down from the elevator and ADA-compliant as can be!). Despite clearly having bigger fish to fry than my road-weary mother and me, the staff was very thorough and helpful from the minute we pulled up in Valet Parking. It's super convenient to zip off the highway and it's downtown, which, in Shreveport, is fairly active (see above: festival) and safe. The only sorta bummer was the very limited menu in the restaurant but, since Louisiana loves brunch, it took roughly six minutes to get to an amazing brunch place and any gustatory sins that Hilton committed were quickly forgotten! If you find yourself passing through Shreveport (road tripper, for a wedding, or to get your jam on), this joint will help you keep it all together!

The location was excellent. I would have preferred free parking.

You took my money and when i arrived there is not a room. I'm roomless out of town with no where to go. I want my refunds!

Clean and well kept, and easy to get to from almost anywhere in town. Excellent bedding and amenities in the room. My only caveat was that I paid for valet parking, but ended up retrieving my vehicle myself, and parking it myself all but 2 times during my stay because the valet was “not available”. I understand staff is limited during COVID, but if you charge for a valet, you should have one...

very nice I wish they would take trash from rooms daily even though they arent doing housekeeping

Nice place. Nice staff. The bed was real comfortable. Hope to come back

Very nice stay. Room just needs to be more up to date.

overall it was an acceptable stay. The room was lovely and clean, the pool was gorgeous. There were a few downsides. It was a little further away from various attractions, and the parking was 8 dollars a day, which wasn't advertised. All that was said was "parking available." We were also a bit frustrated at the intensity with which their "rewards membership" was pushed. Internet required a membership or fee, the front desk didn't have any ibuprofen and the small store in the lobby wasn't open at convenient hours. It felt like we nickel-and-dimed for every minor amenity that most lower end hotels provide for free. The bar/restaurant in the lobby was very pleasant an appropriately priced. it was too bad they closed so early. overall it was a lovely stay, but i'll likely choose a less expensive hotel closer to the river next time.

The property is very old and run down. The staff was excellent and the food good.

Centrally located to where I needed to travel for work/leisure purposes.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel. However, I would like to clarify that the ball was hosted at the convention center adjacent to our hotel, which is a separate entity from us. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service, and we hope to have the pleasure of serving you again soon!
