Wonderful stay

Group of 8 friends came for a long weekend, absolutely beautiful house in a lovely village, warm and comfortable, extremely well equipped. Very comfortable beds and fantastic showers! Village is really great, such friendly people and two nice pubs, fabulous community shop and cafe, will definitely stay again and would highly recommend

Amazing stay in the Cotswolds

First time in the Cotswolds and we couldn’t have stayed at a better place, lovely and clean. Everything was perfect and communication was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Simple entry arrangements worked well and the house was all we expected being well equipped, clean and warm. The property is of good quality and was as described.

Jeremy was very welcoming, even letting us enter the property early as we arrived ahead of schedule. The property is absolutely stunning in a gorgeous village. It was spotlessly clean and.has fab facilities

Fabulous cottage in the most beautiful area.

We have just had the most amazing stay at gardeners cottage, its such a wonderful place. The house is equipped to a very high standard, and the kitchen has everything a cook needs and more ! The area is delightful, and walking distance to two great pubs, both serving good food. The local community shop has more in than Tesco !! And lovely friendly staff too. All in all a great place to relax and recharge.

A pre Christmas break

We had a brilliant stay at Gardners cottage. It was very comfortable throughout and had a very well equipped kitchen. A very welcoming environment. The village is very pretty with Two good pubs and a very handy village shop and coffee shop. We will definitely return!

Family gathering

Ideally located for places too see. Lots of good country walks. Off road parking, nice outside area to sit and relax. A Warren of rooms to relax in. Very enjoyable.

We couldn't have asked for a more charming place to stay while we enjoyed the beauty of the Cotswolds.We had 3 generations in our party, and everyone found house was well-stocked ( linens, toiletries, and kitchenware ) with lots of space to enjoy conversations ( we didn't watch tv once ). We also felt very safe with sturdy handholds on the stairs and good lighting. The garden was lovely with Spring blooms and the house furniture ( sofas, chairs, and beds ) comfortable for a 4 year old all the way to two 74 year olds.The bonus was the location: a delightful village with friendly people and lovely walking paths, it was also a short drive to Stratford upon Avon and the Hidcote Gardens, both of which were wonderful day trips.We highly recommend this home.

Family weekend stay.

Gardeners cottage is beautiful and is of a very high standard. We have a wonderful family weekend there and our grandsons loved the garden and meeting the owner and his dog. We hope to return to this wonderful place in a quiet village with superb amenities.

Our Family stay in the Cotswold

Gardeners Cottage was a fantastic venue to stay for our Golden Wedding Celebrations - The cottage was perfect - spacious, contained garden, off road parking, well equipped in the kitchen, lovely log burner, very comfy furniture, all bedrooms with on-suites, beds comfortable. The village has two great pubs - we went to both - shop also good. Weather not too special (very wet) (we can't do anything about that)!. Communication good with the owners.

Lovely property, perfect for our multi generational weekend. Lots of space, very clean and a fully equipped kitchen. The children loved the garden and meeting Mavis next door. Good base for exploring the Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon.

Great place for a break away

Lovely cottage in a delightful village

The cottage was ideal for our family reunion. The cottage is beautifully presented it is not just well thought out and full equipped but has plenty of 'wow' as the owners have gone several extra miles. The location in the village is a real plus as you can walk to the two welcoming pubs as well as the very impressive community cafe and shop. The village has its own understated charm and has easy access to lots of visitors attractions.

A memorable stay

We are a group of 3 retired couples and a single lady ( plus a senior labrador)who 6/7 times a year take short breaks around the UK. Gardners Cottage is quite simply outstanding in all areas. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, comfortable and a pure delight! The village is picturesque, extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. Very good places to eat and a wonderful community shop and cafe. We will return.

Great stay in gorgeous house

This a beautiful house which has been very carefully renovated with all amenities. A real bonus four our party of eight plus a baby was the four bedrooms each with its own en-suite or bathroom. Luckily we had a sunny weekend and were able to sit outside in the beautiful garden. overall the house is very comfortable and spacious. The house is in a great location near to a couple of good pubs, both of which are walkable and which we used. The village community shop is fantastic, very well stocked and also has a café. We had a great Sunday lunch at The Fuzzy Duck in the next village along. Ilmington is not far from Chipping Campden which is a really lovely town. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this property .

Wonderful stay in The Cotswolds

Very nice house in a lovely Cotswolds Village, with a great community shop and 2 pubs. The house was well furnished and the kitchen very well equipped for catering. There was a good amount of space for us all to relax and a very efficient log burner in the main lounge. The house was warm and there was lots of hot water. The beds were very comfortable and it was great to have plenty of bathrooms. We did a couple of local walks straight from the house. One to the village of Ebrington which has a great pub and well worth a visit. Can highly recommend.
