The whole place is nice. Great scenery and rooms are fancy but the food and staff ruins everything. People who work there have had ZERO training on how to deal with residents or customers in general. Food was not that good as they served frozen chicken that anybody could buy from metro supermarket
This hotel is fantastic for resting. It is good for families, couples, kids. Good aqua park, personal, food, clear rooms. Good wifi quality. Great animation team. I m very satisfied. I was alone here but for me also it was a fantastic 1 week. Thank you...

In November I spent a wonderful 10 days at Park Inn Aqua Park Hotel. I arrived in Sharm el Sheikh via Istanbul to avoid paying £20 for a visa which you have to buy in Cairo just to walk from International arrivals to Domestic departures! The financial exchange rate was very favourable for GBP Sterling so I acquired plenty of LE Guineas in order to bless the staff and local shopkeepers. I also brought the new English notes to exchange for any old £1 coins or fivers that my friends might have. From the moment I arrived at 4.30am, the Bellman and reception staff were very helpful in accommodating me as normal check-in is after 2pm. After 4 hours sleep and a shower, I received a call to inform me that I had been upgraded to Suite 7317 where I was supplied with bottles of soft drinks, a fruit ‘basket’ and a plate of cakes, as well as daily drinking water replenishment. Despite minor problems with the fridge and hairdryer everything was sorted as soon as possible. I discovered that the new Guest Relations lady, Julia, was very lovely and friendly and she is an asset to the team, especially for the Russian and English speaking guests. The hotel had very low occupancy at about 30% but the hotel was ‘swarming’ with security personnel and police who were staying there for the Global Youth Conference which the President and other high-ranking officials were attending. Ahmed from Housekeeping was very attentive to making sure I had everything I needed and that the room was perfect for me. In the restaurant I noticed that Abdelaziz was constantly watching the floor to sweep up any spills but it was nice to get him to lift his head occasionally to see his lovely smile. The other housekeeping person I looked forward to seeing was the orange shirt of the lad in reception who zapped the flies with his electric racquet. All of these and more were kept in check by Mr Tarek who is a lovely gentleman. I don’t know where to begin in describing the attention of the Concierge Team who did everything they could to make my stay the best ever. They are more than luggage carriers and message deliverers and their humour is fantastic. The Animation Team did their best to chivvy the few guests into activity but the usual stretching, water polo/volleyball etc. were lacking and all they could muster was poolside music and chats around the Aquapark pools. The evening entertainment was up to standard though. The lack of children made Maha’s days difficult and sometimes boring in the Kid’s Club in which children are usually amply provided. The pools still had to be well maintained regardless of the number of guests and congratulations are afforded to Tahir and Ashour for maintaining the high safety standards. The gym and spa also suffered in that the equipment was rarely used and the spa staff were conspicuous by their absence, obviously having been sent home for lack of work! The gardens are always kept neat and well-watered but the gardening staff don’t often receive the praise they deserve from the guests and neither do the mechanics, engineers and all office staff who also work tirelessly behind the scenes. That’s why it was a privilege to be included as family in the party for the Employee of the Month and the small office party for staff who were leaving. It was always a pleasure to be greeted in the Cascades Restaurant by Abdo, El Sayed and Hany and the chefs behind the counter. Many times the General Manager and head chef would grace us with their presence – Chief Chef Eid is a very capable leader of the food team. Unfortunately, due to refurbishment of the ground floor restaurants, the upstairs Cascade restaurant suffers from not having a kitchen behind it and food has to be relayed from the kitchen below. I’m sure this was one of the causes of the food cooling down in the second hour of service. There was a plethora of salad varieties and the soup was always hot – although the vegetable soup contained some meat! (Vegetarians beware!) The pasta and other foodstuff provided on demand were also hot but the standing dispensers tended to cool. That said, I ate a lot of healthy food and only gained 2lb. As Park Inn begins to transform into Parrotel Aqua Park in the New Year and as Radisson Blu and Lagoon become Parrotel Beach and Lagoon I wish them all the best with the rebranding and hope they suit the new look and uniforms. My heart still remains ‘Golden’ with the remaining staff of 13 years ago when I took my first visit of 17. Thanks again to Mr Ismael the GM and Mr Karim, the rooms manager, for all the special privileges, and to all the staff who made this my best holiday in Park Inn – 100% happiness. Thanks. I implore you to attempt the flights to Sharm el Sheikh, tedious as the transit may be, and keep these folk in employment, as so many of them, who were once young men, now have wife and children to support as well as their parents. The daytime sunshine is guaranteed and even the evening cool winds can be as warm as a summer in the UK!
The hotel is nice situated, close to the airoport. It has a good Aquapark with many slides and also an easy access to the beach in the nearby hotel was great. I specially liked the animation team, which was really fun and entertaining. They made my holiday enjoyable and i didn't feel bored.
