I am being honest in my opinion. This was my 9th visit to this hotel. It has deteriorated over the years. My last visit the hotel was in some serious condition. The furniture in the rooms was broken. The food was bad bad bad. The staff were all new. The customers were cheap and kept on steering at us. The bed was smelly. No mini bar. Really this is not a 5 star hotel at all. Anyway. I left the hotel and went to the4 seasons which is cheaper cleaner and much much better. Please do not use Hyatt regency sharm. It's a bad hotel.
Hyatt sharm el sheikh is one of the wonderfull hotels that enabled me to enjoy the beauty of sharm el sheikh and magic of red sea scene . An experience that we have to repeat next winter for more safari and more adventures.
I had a stay there for a business meeting purpose, it was very nice to stay there. The beach and the pools are enjoyable. The spa was the best there. We stayed there for 3 nights and those nights were very enjoyable. I hope to go back there again
We took the Regency club I'm going joy the Brathwaite private and more club lounge as drinks and private beach .Big resort and all type of rooms. Mostly all rooms Have sea view . Nice breakfast as other Egyptian breakfast.
We enjoyed this resort very much. we were travelling with 6 kids and 5 adults. Everyone had a great time. It was refreshing to see that every single staff member was welcoming and on top of their game. The chef was always making rounds during the breakfast and dinner to make sure that the food was properly prepared. There are a couple of pools and the beach is ok for swimming, because of the corals. But then again people do not come to sharm for its pristine beach but for the corals and diving. There were not a lot of other people in the resort when we visited, it would be interesting to see they would react to an influx of people.
This resort should be one of the good resorts in Sharm. Unfortunately, I didn't like anything about it.The breakfast is too basic. The rooms weren't clean, it felt like their are small bugs around the room. If your looking for an "okay" resort, this could be your choice. I would have to say that it's near by Soho.
I visited many hotels in Shark and Hurgada but it was the worst thing to know that Hayatt doesn't deserve the name and brand of it ..the fruits was same as taste of vegetables not good can't be eaten..even when we asked to be changed it took around 4 hours after insisting then it can as the one we had already just vegetables.. Even at restaurant it was so bad no variety and just 3 or 4 kinds of food for the whole hotel!! You can't have at least a small bottle of water at dinner cause you will pay for it ..but when you pay for a half board you came get any water to drink !!!??! And at the room the AC was broken you can't change the temperature just on to freez or off to die ..the iron and the mini bar wasn't working and when we asked to be changed it took around 2 hours and also said that no one of the maintenance have to check the iron (said by one of the house keeping staff) ..then when we go to the pool one of the staff said that its only for the club reservations even that we are on the room of the regency club!!!! Then he told us you have only 10 min to get out !!!! What a real bad attitude of staffs and no one at the reception told us about anything of the private pools no signs nothing there to lead us..we a I'll leave tomorrow and we will never come again and will never recommend it to any one visiting or staying at Hayatt never ever. Will see till check out what will be worst in addition to what we had already. Hayatt doesn't deserve the name and not even the stars rate of it.there are many hotels better than that one.
This was our 6/7th time staying at the Hyatt since 2011 and what a disappointment it was. The hotel staff quality has gone down significantly, we learned due to the weak economy they let all of their experienced staff go - hiring unprofessional and unseasoned staff was not the right way to cut cost! The room was also in horrible shape, not the rooms we are used to from the Hyatt Sharm el Sheikh. They also closed "el Souq" where we always had dinner, again, to cut cost! The breakfast buffet was also not what we are used to, they are using artificial orange juice VS freshly squeezed juice as usual. Overall, we ended up cutting our stay short at the Hyatt due to the quality and overall experience and checked into a different hotel. We did provide our feed back to the hotel staff about why we checked out early as well. I hope they have improved since our last stay, but we will not be staying there anymore. Beside the beautiful views, don't expect any more from the Hyatt! Good luck!
We take an annual family vacation here consisting of both American and Egyptian members. Morning buffet is great. Variety of pools including a slide and lazy river. Beautiful grounds. Friendly kind staff. The snorkling has deteriorated over the years but it is still a prime location as seen by the tour boats anchored nearby. Price is cheap for Americans (about $60) but expensive for Egyptians.
I thank all the team work for all what they are doing and given to us during my stay, and what has aroused my attention the professionally work of all the staff, also the constant smile and calm in dealing with the guests. I advise everyone to visit this wonderful hotel
