Bait and switch. Did not stay at listed apartment. Host contacted me in the middle of night, stating electrical problems. There was exchange of words, with host group. Please read other person reviews. Trying to get money back from VRBO.

Family apartment in Shanghai

The property we stayed in was fine but it was not this property. The manager contacted us two days before check in to say that they were moving us to a different but comparable property. There were some issues with check in because the property manager requested information from us less than two days before we were due to check in and we were unable to respond as we were flying from Europe and already in transit. The property was generally clean and tidy, but there was a burn on the sheet in the main bedroom (see photo). The kitchen did not have much in the way of glasses or cups to drink from, but was otherwise fine. The location was great - an easy walk to the metro station and right across the street from a mall for food and other supplies.
Stayed 5 nights in May 2025
