Black Bear on last day

Cabin was excellent, king size bed was comfortable. Washer and dryer was a plus. WI FI worked well while are cell services were still searching.

Not worth money

We had moldy & dirty dishes. Cob webs all over, cabin a lot smaller than looks. Pool table can't shoot to small of place. Hot Tub was old & no privacy. Couldn't get in touch with anyone while we were staying. We go up once a year try new places We will never rent from them again. When we did get in touch with them still not much to say

Great potential.....

Great property with loads of potential but I ran into several minor issues that could easily be rectified by better management. The cabin itself is nice, more than enough room with the loft and 2 full bathrooms and the AC central air system worked great keeping the cabin cool the entire stay. The location is great! The neighborhood is filled with nice cabins, fully paved roads, and 4 miles from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. GPS directions were spot on and check in was problem free with the digital door lock. The bad, they neglected to leave any bedding for the pullout couch, when attempting to call Evolve no one would pick up or answer, only communication was via text messaging, the cabin kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I would have liked and expected, limited toilet paper and paper towels and the rear porch where we spent time relaxing in the chairs and hot tub was covered in spider webs and cigar ashes.

Over priced and not worth our stay

Checkin says after 4pm and cleaning crew wasn’t finished at 4pm. Cleaners didn’t even clean the floors-there was still dirt and Debris left from Christmas. Downstairs bathroom by the shower is rotten-you have to put a towel over it so I don’t step in it when you get out of shower. Unit was hot especially at night- called maintenance and they came out but weren’t able to fix it. Never got a call to check on this matter while we were there the rest of the time. There is also a significant water leak under the house that you can hear running constantly. I’m sure the owners aren’t aware of this matter since it had been going on the whole time we were there. Maintenance was made aware of it when they came out to check on A/C. We won’t be staying this unit or using property “maintained” by Evolve!

Relaxing vacation

We loved the cabin, how close we were to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, all the restaurants and attractions but had the beautiful mountain view.

bring pillows

This is a beautiful, private & peaceful cabin with room for 4. Bring your own pillows. There were only 3 pillows in the cabin - 1 hard as a rock, 1 lumpy and 1 usable. Fortunately there were only 2 people staying and one of us brought our own pillow. The hot tub was enjoyable after long days of hiking. Despite the pillow issue and the bed starting to sag it was a pretty good stay.

Beautiful cabin!

This property was clean and located in a secluded location perfect for a couple’s getaway. Having WiFi included was perfect as it was a must to be able to be able to research trip idea, send messages, etc. the hot tub was also in perfect condition and nice to relax in - especially after a day of exploring in the nearby towns. My only complaint was that there was little information about the check in process conveyed to the renters. I had to make an account with the third party (evolve) and only then was I able to see how to get into the cabin. There is essentially no way to get in contact with them. Someone who is not as tech savvy may not have been able to do this. Thankfully, I did it before we lost reception on the mountain.

TV & Utilities Not Working

TV in living is not working. Maintenance came & switched to HDMI, not working still. After that, no response from maintenance team or evolve team to resolve the issue. Water heater stopped working after 2nd day. Email to maintenance and evolve had no response. Has to stay with what is out there with no support

Perfect Hideaway

This was a perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but provided easy access within 15 minutes of each. Situated right in the middle of the two cities it was a quick and easy trip up and down the mountain. The accommodations were pristine! It was fresh and clean without even a thought of a cobweb and a fresh scent was present upon entry. There is a full kitchen and the only things I needed to bring were food and coffee filters to enjoy a relaxing breakfast before hitting the sites. It was very quiet and my children and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the 2 full baths and “love tub” in the master bedroom (they enjoyed a bubble bath and found it a novelty to bathe right in the bedroom ;). I would definitely stay here again with my kids and also for an adult relaxing getaway! Very serene and romantic get away tucked right in the woods!

Great for Single Family Getaway

I took away a star because it's not *quite* as private and serene as it seemed to lead on. The cabin next to us had construction being done all week & we could hear quite a bit from people on their porches on the street above. However, that did not bother us as we were out hiking each day anyways. The cabin is great, simple but has everything you need. A little breakfast table on the deck would be an awesome addition! A very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable place for our family of 3. Highly recommend and would return.

Disappointed

Working with VRBO was very easy as well as the instructions regarding check in and check out. The issues were actually with the cabin- Love Me Tender. Upon arrival the toilet seat was broken, the TV would not work. Eventually we did get the TV to work but it kept shutting off. The company used for maintenance sent a young man to fix the toilet and TV He was very friendly and tried multiple things to fix the TV even purchased a new remote but still couldn’t fix it. The cabin itself was disappointing. The hot tub needed a thorough cleaning as well as the jacuzzi. There was hair in the bottom of the jacuzzi around the drain. There wasn’t anywhere to put luggage. The place to hang clothes was obstructed by shelves. The extra pillows looked soiled and were in the closet that did not have a door. The mattress cover had a dark yellow staIn. Overall we were ready to leave at the end of our stay. I have stayed in cabins at Pigeon Forge and this by far was the most disappointing cabin.
