Overall the home is well appointed with comfortable beds (which are plentiful) and a nice layout. The drive to get there, since it is atop a mountain, is tricky for tight curves and steep inclines. Once we arrived, our cell service dropped so we recommend printing out or keeping an image of the door code to get in. Once in, there is a QR code on the wall, which without internet we could not access so it took us texting Casey for the wifi user name/password. Casey is prompt with responses and a wealth of information. Highly recommend hanging on to his cell # during your stay.
We were traveling with my elderly parents so having a flat entry from the driveway to the front door was important to us. My father, who uses a cane, was able to navigate everything on the main level. However, there is a gravel space within a log frame before the front porch, so someone with a walker may have difficulty getting in.
Overall, the home is great for younger families, but I don't recommend it for senior citizens. The stairs going up and down are too steep with short steps so my parents could not see the activities that were in the basement or access the laundry.
Highly recommend leaving a printed copy of the house rules and navigational instructions for TV, wifi, etc. My parents had no idea what a QR code was.
