It looks like it’s a very old apartment remodeled into an apartment hotel. The building and elevator itself is “original”, so super dated but inside the unit is nice and new. The building entrance is unlocked at all times and is connected to a bar/karaoke place (the karaoke back door opens directly into the elevator lobby of this building), so security is iffy. I sometimes see random people smoking outside and walking inside the building. The UH Suite lobby is on the 3rd floor and the front desk staff attitude is a hit and miss. Some staff are nice, some are so-so. It’s about a 20 min walk from the Myeongdong shopping area. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite which is decent. However, with the price that we paid ($400-$500 USD a night), I would book two hotel rooms in the main Myeongdong area instead next time when I go to Seoul, for a better location, service, facility, amenities and security.

Clean room, complete amenities - nice shower gel, microwave/ stove (did not use), 2 mini fridges, had to request for iron and provided promptly, comfy beds, friendly staff and free laundry facilities at reception level. We chose the 8 ppl room although there was 6 of us so we had a bit more space. It was good to stay as a family. Common area was aesthetic but I am not sure practical (floor sitting and stone walkway) but thats fine, minor. Other than the main room which had 2 queens and ensuite, the other two rooms were small, no space to open a luggage, which we worked around, we placed in the common area and walk way so not an issue, just an observation. Location was great, close to bus and trains, convenience store, McDonalds and Olive Young and cafes were also a stone throw away. From the outside, it is definitely unassuming. The lift was quite small, you can also take the stairs up but there is a restaurant on the second level so food / storage smell is evident. The walk to the hotel has a few restaurants so there is rubbish around and it just didnt feel quite clean (unrelated to the hotel). There are no views from the room. We were on the fifth floor and did not encounter any noise from the restaurants.

Amazing place to stay! Super close many food places and restaurants. Staff was super kind and amazing and was always willing to help. Room was clean. Highly recommend the BBQ place right on the corner.

This was a beautiful property centrally located near many public transit systems including bus and subways. The accommodations looked just as pictured. Hotels in the area are always a little smaller but the pictures were accurate. I didn’t realize it was near City Hall and we happens to visit on Founders Day and Chuseok. Some businesses near our area were closed for a full week, lots of protests near us, church in the middle of the street and public events and rally’s that cause delays and traffic. I would research holidays and events happening near city hall before you book! Overall the hotel itself was great, any other time and the location would have been perfect!

There were lots of hair at the shower place which is disgusting. Although the staff helped to make the bed and change the towel, the tissue paper were not refilled and some rubbish were still in the room. Besides, there is a tiny bottle of listerine that wasn’t belong to us in the room.

This property is conveniently located and it is clean and comfortable. The only thing that bothered us a little was the construction (daily) and loud speakers (Sat morning only) noise in the early morning hours. Overall, it was a good stay for us.

Family Trip to Seoul

Chose this property for its aesthetic appearance. It is designed very well and contains many amenities useful to large groups. We chose the family suite which has two bathrooms, so definitely a plus for large groups, however only one shower for the entire suite. Nonetheless it is an awesome waterfall type shower with great water temperature options. Climate control is in each room which was helpful during hot Korea summers. Space can be a challenge if you bring large luggage or bags, so I. would recommend to bring backpacks or small luggage containers as the rooms aren’t suited for large items. The beds are a good size: we had 3 queen size beds that sat lower to the ground which is great for kids. Parking can be a problem if you bring your own vehicle since the property does not have its own on site parking nor do they assume any responsibility for parking needs. There is a pay-for-parking area just in front of the hotel which isn’t too expensive, about $20 for all day parking, The area where the hotel is has many shops and places to eat so it’s a very walkable location. Overall I would recommend this property. Thanks, UH Suite!

The flat is new and clean. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. There was a small problem with the toilet, but the staff are helpful and it was solved in the next day. My family and I were happy to stay here.
