The room was decent. We booked for the bunk style bedding so the kids could enjoy their own space. But the room is super small and the bathroom is tiny. There is no counter space, sink smaller than a medium watermelon and rust stains and water stains all around. The towels had a strong bleach smell which is good to know that its clean but so strong that its nauseating. There is a water machine in the hallway, the hot water side was broken for about a day. We did laundry, the washers are good but the dryers were broken. Front desk gave us to solution of walking 7 mins to their sister location to use their dryers. Service is wonderful, location is great, but the rooms and amenities need upgrading.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Travelodge Myeongdong Namsan, and I would like to share my feedback. The hotel’s location is exceptional — approximately a 7–8 minute walk to Myeongdong, with a 24-hour convenience store located just steps from the lobby. This level of accessibility was extremely convenient for my family throughout our stay. I was very satisfied with the overall cleanliness of the property. The room was well-maintained, and the bathtub was spacious enough for my two children (10 and 7 years old) to enjoy comfortably every evening, which was a highlight for them. Your team deserves recognition for their professionalism. The staff were consistently friendly, approachable, and helpful, contributing greatly to our positive experience. While the room was clean and functional, it was relatively compact, making it challenging to open four large (26–28 inch) suitcases simultaneously. Nevertheless, given the room rate and the quality of service provided, the stay offered excellent value. Overall, we had a truly pleasant experience, and I would gladly choose Travelodge Myeongdong Namsan again on a future visit.

We stayed here one night after our week long stay at a different hotel. The staff was nice, the room was a good size for the area and price. The bathroom is small and lack extra toiletries (although body wash and shampoo was provided). The hotel is located between two metro station and is about 15 min walk to the Myeong Dong main area. (Which can make a huge difference when you are carrying bags and bags from your shopping lol)

I'll never stay at Travelodge again

I was charged $511 for 3 nights. Got a tiny room with no maid service and no amenities. Intermittent wifi. Drunk people screaming and laughing in the hall until 2am. Walls paper thin and heard everything going on in the next room. Breakfast buffet opened at 7am with all the food and coffee already cold at 7am. Awful experience.

Extremely small room, pillar right in the middle taking up space. Never had the room cleaned even once through the 4 days there. Had a sewage smell the first night, spoke to reception and got it fixed. Noisy taps and could hear toilet being flushed from rooms above at night, so not very quiet. Area convenient to subway, 3 metro station nearby, plus numerous cafes and restaurants.
