My stay was solo trip with lots of personal and business appointments in the middle of Seoul. It was reasonable price with everything you need and close by. A Perfect spot for sight seeing as well as palaces, museums, galleries, shopping, traditional housing are all close by. Train station is just a step away easy to get around. Shame I didn’t get to take pictures. But it was very close to what they advertised. So I knew what to expect. I wouldn’t go for the hotel restaurant as you have so many other reasonably priced and yummy food just easy accessible!
Near to city centre , subway and all connections Rooms are good big, but little aging but comfortable Amenities are good and well maintained Breakfast was good but not many change everyday Very helpful staff
The hotel is literally less than 50 steps from the subway, which makes travel to just about anywhere very easy. The staff is beyond great. Willing to help with anything you need from currency exchange to transportation to tickets to the Olympics! Housekeeping is super efficient, almost like magic. We went to eat breakfast and our room was completely cleaned and restocked in the half an hour we were gone. Restocking included: two free bottles of water a day, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush and paste, shower cap, razor, Q-tips, clean robes, towels and wash cloths. The rooms are very nice - not sure just what reviewers saying they're outdated were talking about as ours was beautifully decorated and modern. Even had a sewing kit for emergency wardrobe repair. I would not only stay here again, I won't stay anywhere else. Highly recommend. I gave it four instead of five for the buffet, which you absolutely don't have to patronize as there are approximately 75 restaurants (including McDonalds and Burger King as well as Starbucks) within a ten minute walk.
Stayed there in mid of 2016 actually. First time in Korea. The hotel is ok, a bit aging but comfortable. The location wise is very central and convenient. Very easy to walk to the shopping areas, with metro station nearby connecting to all parts of Seoul. I would say its a ok starting point if this is first time in Seoul and if you do not want to stay in hotels completely packed with tour group.
The President is very well located just across the road from the Seoul City Hall and very public transport accessible. The hotel itself is getting a bit old and dated but is very well-priced, clean and comfortable - with most of the facilities one expects - but without some of the more contemporary frills and extras to be found in 5 star and newer hotels.
Stayed for just one night: for business. Room is of good size and the bathroom is OK. Comfortable and clean. I took the airport bus to go to this hotel. Think it was No. 6701. Please check. It's the bus to Lotte Hotel. Get off at Lotte and it's just one minute's walk from there. Its location is central and thus can easily go to all parts of the city. And it's right next to Lotte and thus plenty of shops nearby. Easy to find coffee shops and other places to eat. Breakfast is OK but not really offering a lot of choices. This hotel gives you comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. But not razor. Not surprised as this seems to be the normal practice for Korean hotels.
This is my family’s first time in Korea. My dad had a business trip and we just tagged along. The hotel is great for business trips, ok for pleasure trips. Stay here has been great! Housekeeping is good and timely. Food is good too. Location is 10 mins walk from Myeong dong.
The rooms are obviously very old, and they're not the cleanest.. They're OKAY at best. There isn't much to do in the area. I would try to boom a hotel elsewhere unless you must be here for some reason. The rooms do have nice city views, for whatever that's worth.
I stayed a week in this hotel. It was very nice and comfortable. Central location waking distance to go shopping malls restaurant like M c Donald Burger king and many types of restaurant. Rooms are very nice good hot shawor comfortable bed coffee tea making pot every thing which we need. I highly recommend this hotel.
The President hotel offers comfortable rooms. The beds are excellent, and the showers are also very good. The problem with this hotel is that in the rooms, the motion-sensitive lights are very sensitive. Even while you sleep, or attempt to, the lights respond to every movement of even your feet. Last night, I was woken at least 20 times by those lights. This really resulted in me having to choose between sleeping in a totally static position (not many of us can do that), or being woken up by the light every time I moved in my sleep. The lights are sufficiently bright to wake you, even though they are in the hallway of the room. The attached photo shows my own experience at 2am today. Suffice to say, this is not a restful hotel at all.
